570S Track Pack v's 675LT Club Sport

I agree its a little soft for a "serious" track day tool, brakes i thought were more than fine, i would also say deliberately under tyred and you are on the money with the 75% comment, i doubt there are many that can or will drive at 100%, i would dare say there are specific track cars (atom etc) a lot better suited to that anyway.
I think if it were me i would be buying a 570s, throw a little money at it with litchfield and have something at 40k plus less than a 600LT, thats most likely going to end up quicker and more track focussed again.
Exactly what Thorney do with their 570s GT4R

Have tracked my 570s at a few places mainly the Ring, at 8/10ths it's great and alot of fun I'd never push it to the limit as I'd prefer not to write it off! I'm sure a 675LT is better in every regard as you approach those limits but for the gentleman driver not sure how much that matters unless you need to have the halo car...I'd love one btw but for a 100k premium to my car its seems pretty steep!

Ive had a good read through the Litchfield mods, sounds like a much improved car. I am probably going to go for the spacers and alignment as i think thats what would benefit me and the car the most for my type of useage stealing Rsbandits, gentleman driver.I think if it were me i would be buying a 570s, throw a little money at it with litchfield and have something at 40k plus less than a 600LT, thats most likely going to end up quicker and more track focussed again.

I wonder where the LT values will end up in comparison to the 570s, at current 50% more its a big ask to justify imho, although they do look another level, from a dreamers point of view, i think if i had that sort of money for a Mac, i would be into a 720s, although thats not the question being asked by the op and realise the 600LT is far more track focussed than the 720s.
Developing a 570s to become more track focused sounds an interesting idea. A good way of getting to know the dynamics of the car and then upgrade as you understand the limits. Like some have said how many of us use all 10/10ths when doing track days.
The 911 turbo is plenty fast enough but heavy on the corners so having the performance but with better and lighter cornering ability are my thoughts.
I’ve got a Zenos for the shorter circuits and having fun the aim of McLaren is to use on GT circuit and enjoy days out.
Thanks for sharing the ideas.

There is a 675LT Spider coming up on collecting cars just so you know if you go that route. The 911 turbo is plenty fast enough but heavy on the corners so having the performance but with better and lighter cornering ability are my thoughts.

At a private sale around £200k, unless you have the cash, financing that could be a challenge.
If it stalled at £200k, a dealer shall most likely buy it for stock, because there is plenty of meat left on the bone; at least 20%.
Great spec inc louvres, great colour, great mileage.
I've got £200k cash and would buy it for that without hesitation but I think it could go as high as £225k to a retail collector. If it stalled at £200k, a dealer shall most likely buy it for stock, because there is plenty of meat left on the bone; at least 20%.

At £200k I would be up against the trade for sure.
Presumably there is at least a £200k reserve ?

Also worth bearing in mind the non refundable £6,000 buyers fee taken from your credit card on the literal drop of the hammer. At £200k I would be up against the trade for sure.

I would not be buying anything through CC with out viewing first and confirming everything pre bidding

Lol, I WISH.If it was I wouldnt even be selling it for £250k after todays test drive in one courtesy of Ray in the MOC.
All I can say at mo is WOW what an unbelievable car.
I'm still trying to compose myself and take it all in.
Let's just say its made my decision between a new 720S spider and a 675LT spider an absolute no brainer. The added rawness and engagement make it more of a sunny weekend toy which is what I'm really after from a 3rd car.
If it was a daily I would go 720S but just for fun the LT wins by a country mile.
Whoever said McLaren's were boring has never been in a 675LT spider.
The cracks and bangs and pops on both up and downshifts is unreal and a real giggle even if im an old sod.
I will be keeping an eye on the CC car for sure but I dont know if I could live with all the attention a bright green hi vis car will bring
