I’m on the hunt for a Huracan (2014 ish car). Ideally black.

Is it just me or do the specs not change much. Other than the rear screen/slats and the wheels, I don’t see a lot of differences out there. Are there any must have options im missing?

I have read of very little going wrong with them. Is there anything model specific to look out for?

The 3 things I’d look for are:
Dynamic steering, I’d avoid
Nose lift
Passive vs magnetic dampers. The magnetic dampers offer better ride but are prone to leak

A must in my opinion;

Front axle-lift - a must for me, needed to get on and off my drive for a start. Also seen some for sale without over £10k less that have been up now for 10+ months. People don't generally go for them although if you found an absolute bargain KW do a front-lift kit that could be retrofitted.

For me I wanted;

Glass rear screen - although reflection sort of makes it pointless just preferred the look and fact you can see in to the bay

Giano Wheels - I wasn't a fan of Mimas wheels but again that's preference

Less than 3 previous owners - I found one with 1 previous owner, but so many I liked spec of had 7+ owners changing hands every year such is the nature of the car

Less than 10k miles - I plan on doing Euro tours (2,500 mile trips) and wanted something that wouldn't jump over 20k straight away, found one on 4k miles

Interior - I simply didn't want matching inserts but wanted matching leather stitching again preference option

Rear camera - I didn't want one as silly as it sounds. You have the rear sensors which do the job for me but I had plans for the rear so it was preference for me not to have one.

So really not a massive amount to spec and be worried about. I waited a year to find what I wanted and am really happy with it. Very marmite for sure after having 14 'white' cars in a row I decided to go bold and went Arancio Borealis which is an amazing colour in the sun and under lighting but certainly bold.

I also purchased a OEM rear diffuser as one on the car was colour coded to be a little different just a subtle change but none-the-less I like it.
