No one wants to be remembered as the nearly man, you snooze you lose I don't love white so I offer £198k and TH declined. I went to £200k and they still declined. Considering that car used be up for sale under 200k I don't think it was a bad offer.
Anyway want meant to be.

Am I correct that this is a non desirable spec. If the white car sold for £205k I wonder what things worth.?
How can one get the options list on the car?
I have never bid in an auction. I think I will bid.

As far as I know D Class did the upholstery on this car and would be able to change it to anything else so give them a call and price up a change. Quite a few owners use D Class to personalise their interiors. The best way to get the options is to ask a question on CC. What is desirable to one owner may not be to another so you should buy what is desirable to you.Am I correct that this is a non desirable spec. That is stunning. Don’t see many black ones. Love that interior as well, goes really well against the blackBrntRubber said:

Before you get involved with CC you would be well advised to look at their terms. You have no consumer protection, they take a non refundable £6,000 on drop of the hammer.
You need to fully inspect car etc before end of auction as if you ultimately reject car for any reason you won’t get your £6k back.
Also bear in mind their trade mates can be involved so you need to be on your guard

Yeah decent offer in olden days but in this market dealers are not discounting at all despite the high prices.I don't love white so I offer £198k and TH declined. I went to £200k and they still declined. Considering that car used be up for sale under 200k I don't think it was a bad offer.

Definitely a sellers market.
I just bought something V8 N/A sub £100k and manage to squeeze a full tank of fuel out of them eventually after a long discussion .
They just would not budge whichever angle I tried.
Ok car was low mileage in great condition and sensibly priced hence why I wanted it but pre covid etc.. I would of got £5k off it for sure.
If its the right car be prepared to act fast and pay all the money at the moment because from what I am seeing demand exceeds supply massively for anything decent and only ropey cars are sitting.
Look at all the ropey 458s sat for months at silly prices yet a decent one is probably gone before being advertised

AB had this for sale around 2 years ago; although marked as sold, I don't think it did.Am I correct that this is a non desirable spec. If the white car sold for £205k I wonder what things worth.?

Spec is as follows:
D:class are very good.
On my 675, i had them alter stitching colour, retrim and fit a 12 o'clock on the alcantara steering wheel and do embroidery on my P1 seats, and fit alcantara to the centres of the electric comfort seats that are still sitting in boxes in the attic.
Dave the owner is a great lad to deal with.
However, the dashboard is an altogether different beast altogether and expensive to retrim.
If I recall this was the stumbling block on AB selling this car.
Its nearby me, but I have never seen it and didn't know it was local.

Bispal, you're not saying that D:class did the factory interiors, but that many owners use them to retrim their cars after delivery?
That's useful to know if you can't find the exact spec you want, thank you.

They are very, very good at what the do.
I have used them and their work and customer care is fantastic.

Unfortunately, the colours that the OP has stated he does not like are the colours that sell very quickly.
The white one has sat about for a while as its not a desirable colour for the majority, hence its lower price; buy that and you shall have the same issue upon selling.
I would not be surprised if the dealer mentioned has been a bit economic on the truth regards owners etc, and alarm bells always ring if being pressured into a deposit.
I'm also surprised at the price of the Burton Blue car; I personally feel that come May that would of been £20k more...maybe the owner has a 765 spider coming?
In the case of mines the owner had an early 765 coupe and very reluctantly sold me my one he had bought from new; he has since asked to buy it back to compliment the 765 which he doesn't feel is a keeper.
My advice; orange, green or grey, as much carbon as possible, wing louvres, low miles but more than 5k so its been used, and as low previous owners as possible.
Buying from AB shall get you the exact same years warranty you get from McLaren, the car shall be impeccably presented, and he only sells cars with A1 history / ownership and no stories.
As I mentioned before, call him as he shall most likely be able to source you the colour and spec that you want; he knows of most of most of the 675s out there.
It took him a year of persuading the previous owner to part with my 675 and right upto money transfer we thought he would change his mind as he had done so previously.
Best of luck in your search; I have had a few McLarens but the 675 is very special.

I have to say I am struggling to understand the pricing on the 675lts.
Can someone please shed some light on the historic pricing on these and how quickly they have risen? I think the chip shortage is pushing up supercar prices by £20k plus. Are these cars just being rucked away by collectors?
Is the 675lt world's better than a 600lts which will be £100k cheaper soon enough? A 600lts at £150k vs a 675lts at 240/250k is a big price delta.
I also suspect 765lt coupe will be around 270kish in around 12 months.

As I said, the Burton Blue one was a bargain last week.
I think that car would of sold for the same if it had been listed at that price.
I see the CC listing for the black one indicates it was damaged whilst parked on the rear quarter and since repaired; thats a pity.
It won't bother some, but shall put off others.
