Anyone have an outlook for old Sports Series range?

did they ever offer the MSO Titanium exhaust as an option on the 570GT?
They still do; it’s a £4.3k dealer fitted option.
That seems pretty decent value for an MSO Titanium exhaust especially if it is including fitting. They still do; it’s a £4.3k dealer fitted option.
I would have thought it would be a lot more factoring in the 'McLaren tax' and premium you inevitably pay to keep the car OEM. Looking at other titanium aftermarket options like Akrapovic etc they seem to be similar price if not more money (and that is not fitted).

It’s a fully fitted vat included price; and does make a serious difference imho.
Sounds like a great deal.Cars sold, newly listed and with price changes since last Sunday 26th March
25 cars sold, which feels like a lot. More than half of the 600LT Spiders which were available last weekend are now gone, for instance. Average asking prices for both coupe and spider 600LTs are on the up (which might be as simple as the cheaper cars having been bought, hence the average prices for remaining cars are higher than before). May just be a blip, dunno.

Thanks for the update, very interesting. I have also seen the number of McLarens for sale dropping so I guess more seem to be selling than coming onto the market right now. I have also noticed certainly the spiders are priced for more money than previously, I assume this is simply due to dealers probably expecting demand to pick up now that we have entered Spring. 25 cars sold, which feels like a lot. If you look on AT and take away the car under offer and the one duplicated there are only 18 600lt’s for sale currently, numbers were double this a couple of months ago, anything new coming to market has done so with a decent price increase from a few months ago especially the spiders,,
For another perspective on value, here's median prices for 2016-18 570S coupes compared with median AT asking prices for cars of comparable performance and of the same years, in ascending order of price:
I'm using 0-100mph times just to show that these cars aren't that far apart in a straight line, and thus are reasonable to consider together - obviously there's far more to a car than a single straight line performance metric.
The GTR is obviously good value here, the other outlier is the R8 which seems to turn in quicker times than I'd imagined in Plus guise and is on a par with the McLaren. The other cars are either a bit or a lot more expensive, getting on for double the money for the Italian cars.
(FWIW removing the age restriction to look at all 650S Coupes, they come out at £92k median ask and ~5.6 secs 0-100).
I imagine one could find errors or holes in this dataset, however I do think the underlying point is valid, that the Sports Series represent strikingly good value at current prices for what they offer the driver.
Model | Spec | 0-100 | Median Price |
---|---|---|---|
Nissan GTR | 6.9 | £80k | |
McLaren 570S | S | 6.0 | £87k |
Audi R8 | Plus | 5.9 | £89k |
AMG GT | R | 6.8 | £111k |
Porsche 911 Turbo | S | 6.2 | £120k |
Ferrari 488 | GTB | 5.9 | £165k |
Lambo Huracan | LP610-4 | 5.6 | £170k |
