Super series service cost

Age & mileage may be a factor, too.

I understand on the Sports Series the fuel tank has to be dropped to change the fuel filter at 6 years (~£600), and the clutch / gearbox oil needs changing at 20k miles (~£450), so if these two happen to coincide on top of a ~£1400 normal major service, then it can sum up to quite a bill even before anything has actually gone wrong with the car.

Mine (650) did have the 20k service, but by coincidence it happened with a 'cheap' service - I was told that service would be £795 before the clutch / gearbox oil change was added on. So my total was still around £1,200 for the service in total.
