He was doing about 1 video a week on 2varish for a while but even that's tailed off.

Would like to think there's a masterplan in there, he talks about sizeable outgoings in some interviews. Fair enough he's still gaining subscribers but it doesn't feel like it has much direction.

The guy is just getting a bit boring, i used to love watching his videos but he has to many projects going on at the moment and he will start one and not do a follow up for another year or 2.

Matt Armstrong has taken over him on youtube and its easy to see why, Matt releases content weekly and will stick to the same project.
Yes, I have the same view.

Now the uk based social media guy has bought an F1, wrapped it, put new wheels on it and putting up lots of content, it's hard to see what Tavarish is going to offer that's more interesting.

In Matt Armstrong's video from Sunday he goes into Freddie's lock up and sees an update of the P1 in bits being re done and no wrap.

Is Matt on Youtube? Cannot find it. Any link to his P1?

I've fallen out of love with all of these bloody YouTubers. I think it's got something to do with the same clickbait photos with their stupid faces to the side pulling the same ridiculous faces, like that somehow makes a difference (no doubt the algorithms tell them it does). Either way, that's literally what puts me off these days and I won't watch their crap accordingly. Never got into Matt's stuff (not sure why, just find it very annoying). Tavarish's P1 stuff was good fun for the absolute insanity of the project, but the lack of updates haven't helped. Also, it's no longer a p1 and never will be, despite what he says, albeit I doubt it really matters now that he's made his money out of it.

Richard Hammond has his opinion very clear.

The "faces" thing does indeed increase not only interaction but YouTube pushing the videos. Several of them have done videos on it explaining why they have to and how much it annoys them as well (Matt specifically springs to mind, had a long chat with Doug Demuro about it and how it works). Unfortunately if they want to their videos to be seen, they have to jump through the algorithm hoops.

"It's a McLaren P1 shaped thing"

Hard to disagree.

Properly interesting builds; I've followed their channel for many years now, hugely underrated. imho obviously.

he can do what he wants with it imo, this isn't a 1 of 1, there will be tons of borderline delivery miles cars still around in decades

Well, the original designer of the P1 Frank Stephenson is designing a one off body for Freddie's P1. Pretty sure that will make it a real "1 of 1".

New video end of next week.

Cool.

So it's even less of a p1 than it was before then.

I forgot this was a discussion about my garage. My bad buddy.

I'm all for wild builds, but it's quite funny to see how sensitive fanboys get when you criticise their favourite YouTubers.

Totally agree with this. I feel exactly the same.

A lot of this rebuilding crash damaged stuff is starting to run its course. There's only so far you can take the concept, it's the personalities involved and to a degree the make/model of car that will appeal to a certain audience.

We're now seeing 'collaborations' with other YouTubers to add variety albeit I suspect the rinse and repeat formula of buying a crash damaged car and rebuilding it is not getting the buy-in it once was.

There was a handful of YouTubers at MA's place in one of the snippets of a video I saw - Shmee, Mr JWW, Chris Slix, Mark McCann and some Irish/Dutch grey market watch dealer who shouts a lot. So they're clearly all trying to grab at alternative content hanging on to each others shirt tails. The loud Irish guy had a video about a Lamborghini he bought via a dealer SOR and it had (in his view) issues and he'd been ripped off in what was a 'private' sale. It was a non-story in my view but had the necessary 'click-bait' title to draw people in.
