Mine is the same colour scheme - although will be about 22/23k miles by the time we get back from Italy.
I think I am ready to sell mine, but I want to sell another car first and by the time I've sorted a few things out on it it's likely to be the end of the year - which means I'll probably just wait until next Spring.
Unless prices plummet, I'd basically want my money back from Spring 2023, so a tad over £100k. Seems very achievable at the moment
are you by any chance driving back via the Austrian alps? I hope to get my car back this week and then wanted to go for a drive in the mountains before the bad weather hits. No. We came down through the Swiss Alps - which was rammed. We were stuck in a jam for a while due to an accident. Wife wanted to visit Nice, so we head to France in a few days then back via dull French motorways.

Yours would sell for £110k tomorrow IMOI think I am ready to sell mine, but I want to sell another car first and by the time I've sorted a few things out on it it's likely to be the end of the year - which means I'll probably just wait until next Spring.

100%
If I was in nice in a 650S, I would 100% travel back via Route Napoleon & Route Des Grand Alpes
Bucket list stuff
Route napoleon is an awesome stretch of road. Fast, flowing and huge fun. If I was in nice in a 650S, I would 100% travel back via Route Napoleon & Route Des Grand Alpes

Everyone travels down that way for the passes such as stelvio and furka etc but the RN in my opinion is the one to drive

£130k is silly money IMO
Gets you a nearly new Artura or a hyper car 720
Hypercar 720? By today’s standards, nope. The 720S is mass produced old-tech (by supercar standards) - ten years old next year. Certainly the equivalent of Hypercar performance when it was launched in 2017. Spaceship looks, yes.Gets you a nearly new Artura or a hyper car 720
The difference between 650S and 720S performance in real-world driving is so marginal, there’s little to notice - certainly on UK roads. Both will lose your licence and can keep-up with just about anything else on four wheels (and two). For that price, I’d take a 650S spider over a a 720S coupe all day long - I’ve had 2 x 720S coupes - The 650S is better quality than the early 720S coupes that replaced it, that’s for sure. Sure, I’d take a 720S spider over a 650S spider, but the price difference is quite large. Need to really compare Spider vs Spider.
It certainly appears that the 650S spider will/has surpassed the 720S coupe on pricing.

Maybe your 720 was broken
It s soooo much faster than the 650
The first one (2017) was certainly broken. The worst ownership experience I’ve ever had of any car. And that includes a 1990 Citroen XM.
It s soooo much faster than the 650
Let’s agree to disagree on the soooo much faster. I’d agree that the 720S is faster, but soooo much faster, I think not. You’d need to be in serious licensing losing/go-to-jail territory to tell the difference.

It's got a lot more performance on offer sure, but on the roads in the UK is it really a noticeable difference? I've never driven a 720, but the 650 is so fast you're in license losing territory in the blink of an eye as it is, I feel like you could double the power of my car and it just means I'd be backing off a fraction of a second earlier. Or are you thinking more about track days?

I could drive my 650 pretty hard on the road, by that I mean how long you can go WOT and wind it out
Do the same in the 720 and you quickly find yourself in a hedge as things so into fast forward and your brain can’t keep up
Just look at how it walks away from the 675LT once it gets breathing

This ‘650S Prices’ thread was started two years ago. It’s interesting to read how prices have increased since it was first posted. Loads of comments about “overpriced” etc. but here we are two years on, that they are being advertised at 40-50% more.
Is it possible to keep it on-topic?

I don’t think prices are up 50% at all, they’re about 12% up according to my spreadsheets, against inflation just a few %.Is it possible to keep it on-topic?
