Thought I'd use an ic car yesterday instead of the i3 for a change .
It had a flat battery .
Oh the irony ...

:rolf: Did you forget to plug your normal car battery into the trickle charger...

Raises and interesting point though that I hadn't thought of before.

What happens if you leave a Nissan Leaf or Renault Zoe sat on the drive for a couple of months - do they go flat over time without use?

We used the wife's new aygo the other day instead of the Zoe, kids commented on how noisy it was compared to the Zoe. FWIW i love the engine note of the wee 3 pot sounds like i'm a driving a very small 911 smile

I can't comment on two months - but in two weeks my car showed no sign of using any battery at all. I think Nissan claim it's a few percent per month...

Much bigger batteries, so I suppose they take much longer to lose their charge.

Can you jump start an IC car from an electric car if needed?
