Told it today on email from the fleet managent company.

Is yours still working?
Added the new car to my profile on the app yesterday (previously had a 1 series) and have used without problem today - so nice to get in a cool car on a hot day.

I've just joined the club yesterday (Alpine White M Sport with only folding seats added as at the top of my lease allowance!). Very impressed already over the 20 or so miles I've driven.

I have a quick question that I couldn't see had been discussed - are you using std 95 RON unleaded or Super/V Power?

States 95 RON on the filler and 91-98 range; any benefit found from higher octane in this car?
Shell V-Power and Tesco GreenEnergy99 (Premium) Fuels are better suited for Turbos than BP Ultimate.

Here is a link to another thread discussing 99RON fuels etc - https://www.pistonheads.com/gassing/topic.asp?t=83...
Thanks all; filled with Shell's finest today

Haha I have no idea what they are on about. They just want you to have a bad time because you asked if you could have it cheaper lol

Hi Guys, and apologies if you have seen this elsewher

I currently have a 1.4 SEAT Leon on lease through work which ends in January 18. Am looking at the 330e next (have to order by late August as 20 weeks lead time is quoted) and was wondering if I could seek your help / advice on a few things

1) What is the difference between mSport and Sport specifications, looks on the list to be suspension and leather seating (mSport is extra £20 PCM so if that is it I may just go sport)

2) I am after the HUD upgrade which is contained in the professional media plus package. does this still have the 10" screen from the professional media package or does it revert to the original 6.5" nav?

3) Most of my journeys will be within a 10 mile radius of base, I have read varying estimates of electric range, in the experience of 330e users is all electric feasible?

4) I have a standard 3 pin socket just inside my garage (house is around 10 years old) would this likely be sufficient for charging?

5) Torn between the Msport with Professional Media plus (for the HUD) and HK Audio packs and the Msport Shadow edition since both are roughly the same price. Basically choice between the HUD and 19 inch rims with sun protection glass, any of you had experience with the HUD?

Less than a day now until the car arrives (unforseen complete B.S. delays notwithstanding) smile

Shame I got to work tomorrow otherwise I'd just spend the day cruising with the tunes pumping tongue out

I would say definitely go for the pro media... i think that it is so much superior to the standard nav system...I have a sport trim with the optional 18" wheels in black and it looks just as good as an M Sport imo. The sport trim does not suit white tho, whereas white on the M Sport looks terrific !!!

All I would say is get an electrician to look at the socket...make sure its safe and what charge rate you can set the car at! smile

So my 330e after 2 months of happy driving is at the dealers frown

Charging up Sat off the 3Pin i noticed the rate of charge was slower than usual...but thought nothing of it. Sunday it charges for about 10mins then it trips the plug and the RCD on our main consumer unit. Long story short...after the trip the car will now no longer accept power from any external power source. Maybe when the RCD tripped it triggered some fail safe on the car to stop accepting power till it's checked out?

All that would happen is when plugged in the charging port would pulse orange and then red, with the dash saying one of 2 warning
1- Mains power supply too low (it isn't - had socket checked by electrician)
2- Unable to charge

Hoping to hear from the dealer (Rybrook Wolverhampton) tomorrow. They seemed really willing to help and are looking at a few niggles i have with the car while they have it in.

Will update if i hear anything. Going on holiday Friday so hope to have it back by then!

Apologies for cropping your post to save clutter**

I took m sport because, asides from the standard leather seats etc, the plus pack more or less covered the extras I wanted and was excellent value. But another huge factor was paint. BMW paint options, imo, are crap. Estoril was my choice ahead of the mundane 3 series crap colours and cancelled any thoughts I may have had about speccing up a cheaper model.

And that was with absorbing some cost by opting to delete the suspension as well!

I had the same with ChargedEV. They cancelled on me twice, the second time on the day when I had all my floorboards up. I was not best pleased. So I got a refund, ran my own cable while the floorboards were up and fitted an outside socket that cost me £40. I'm still using that now! I charge on low, overnight 99% of the time, so it's no issue really.

Second day with the new motor and it's certainly keeping a smile on my face smile

Second night of charging. Have set it to charge from 4am til 8.20am and for departure time of 7.55am and so far so good with first charge attempt.

Haven't checked overall stats yet but got 65mpg this morning with hk stereo on and air con on. Apparently about a third of my 21 mile commute was purely electric. This left me about 60% battery power left apparently. Guessing I've got about 15-16 miles on electric today. The car did tell me this morning that I had about 27 miles of range - of only lol.

Oh and a bmw i3 tried to race me this evening. It was quicker than I expected but still didn't need to come out of comfort mode in order to lose em. Embarrassing if I'd have become familiar with his rear bumper...couldnt have that tongue out

Sorry mate, didn't spot your message earlier doh!

Yes got it yesterday morning. Got dropped off by BMW dealer pretty much bang on first thing smile

Unfortunately it started to rain minutes after it reversed out of the lorry so it put me off taking it for a spin until it had eased off a bit in the afternoon.

I'll attempt a couple of pic uploads..here goes

Ordered my 330e 3 weeks ago via Zenith leasing (company car).

Today, I received my date of delivery.... 27th November! That's mental in my eyes, never waited this long for a car before... But I get that seems normal! I'm fully expecting that will be later than suggested as well!

One of my colleagues ordered his car on the same day as me, 330e m sport, but no options... His date is 30th October. That's a month longer on mine to put different wheels on!

Anyway, ordered the 330e M sport, mineral grey, 19" 403M, and M sort brake upgrade. Still excited.

Wait till you finish breaking her in (recommended) and then get to try sport mode, and the flaps - it's a seriously surprising car!

Anyway, she's beautiful, although the colour will look even better when you get some sunshine! :-)

1) I'm sure there are further differences mainly interior finishes/ touches. Certainly the Sport doesn't come with the brilliant Msport steering wheel (although always an option to spec one).

2) No 10" screen in the 3 series, the upgraded media comes with an 8.8 screen and it's so much better than the basic one.

3) Expect real world electric range to be 12-14 miles.
