Replacement for Outlander PHEV?

My Outlander PHEV is going back to the lease company in a couple of months and I am undecided as to what to get for a replacement. I originally chose the car as it was extremely cheap a company car and I wanted to try out electric power, but over the past few years have come to see the advantages of the SUV size for family duties.
I am not going to get another company car, will be buying/leasing privately so am looking for a replacement. Have discounted another Outlander as I find the seats very short and uncomfortable. Given the diesel backlash and my enjoyment of electric drive I am looking at hybrid alternatives but there are not many out there.

BMW X5 PHEV looks promising and just about affordable, Lexus RX is interesting but is not a plug-in hybrid, Porsche Cayenne PHEV would be great but seems expensive. If I switch from SUV to larger cars then there is the Porsche Panamera PHEV which is a bit left field and expensive but not a lot else!

Anyone got any info on these or alternatives I should consider?

(I do have a deposit on a Tesla 3 but I think this may be a bit too small and it will be another year at least before they are available)

Merc C350e is available in estate form, but still may not be big enough? I drove the X5 PHEV before the 330e was available and it was an amazing piece of kit but the electric only range is probably a lot less than the Outlander, 10 miles if you're lucky. But it is stonkingly fast for something so large. Volvo XC90 Twin-Engine?

My daily commute is around 15 miles which is easily achieved on electric with the outlander, I presumed this would be the same with the X5 but maybe not.
XC90 twin engine is a good call, pricey though aren't they?

Outlander has a 12kwh battery X5 is only 9kwh, plus the X5 is like 400-500kg heaver not to mention nearly 3x as powerful!

There's always the hideous 225xe aswell, boring sprogwagon but ticks the boxes.

C-hr looks a bit small and does not to seem to be a plug in hybrid, but the xc60 t8 is a great suggestion. I had not heard about it, so will keep an eye on the Volvo website to see when more info is released.
Shame about the x5 battery size but I will probably still try and get a test drive in one and would like to see if my commute route is achievable on a single charge.

I'm looking for a PHEV estate at the moment. It would do school runs and dog walks with one (soon to be two) large dogs. The Outlander is a possibility.

There is a VW Passat GTE Estate that looks very good.

Audi do a couple - the Q7 e-tron and the A4 Sportback e-tron .I didn't like the Q7 (harsh ride and surprisingly small inside for a huge car - plus the car loses the 7 seat option). I think the A4 is too small in the boot.

Volvo has the XC90 and V60 D6 Twin Engine. My wife doesn't want a Volvo for some reason. I bought a Saab as a nanny car that she took a dislike to. Saab is Swedish therefore she doesn't like Volvos either. Can't live with them, can't bury them under the patio,

The Passat is currently favourite.

Just got the Passat GTE Advance -very nice, good luggage space and well worth a test drive.

The Wife drove the Outlander and decided that was just the badger. New one sitting on the drive now.
