They seem rare and I'm not even sure if Renault will still sell you a new one

Quite fancy the Twizy Cargo to run through my business as a company vehicle and use for station runs etc biggrin

Anyone got one and care to comment on it? Reliable? As fun as it looks?

They aren't available in commercial form though biggrin

Station is only a few miles away and largely 30mph roads

Seems prohibitively expensive to insure - around 30% more than a Kangoo ZE!

Guessing there's a lot of people like you working for insurance underwriters hence the quotes

Yes I've owned one for 2 1/2 years.great fun and due to having solar panels on my house it's almost free to run .on average does 45miles to a charge.tuning box ups it's power and torque and top speed from 50 to 70 mph.
Only fly in the ointment is its a battery lease only .mines on a £30/ month deal.others are paying £45.
However there's one on eBay that the battery has been bought for £5000.
Gets more looks than a pink veyron.
Rumour has it that Renault may allow battery purchase before end of year.
Space frame chassis strong as a crash helmet.
Reliable except battery charger failed.replaced for free.4 year warranty .
Insurance £170 through admiral tax free .
My other car is a 3.0tdi Audi A5 Quattro which never gets used.i prefer the Twizy even in winter. Audi is for long distance driving
