How much delay did it cost you? Still November delivery?
Any chance a service will be required within 18 months and 12k miles?
I emailed my contact and asked about adding the premium pack and metallic paint, which would have been £20 per month. They stated I could but the paperwork would have to be done again and I would lose build slot. My delivery to dealer is 09/11/18, so I guess the build is locked in and can’t be changed. In the end I decided not to bother, whilst still a good deal I did not want to pay £269 pm and sorting the paperwork would be tricky as I was away from home. Not taking delivery until March 19 though anyway.Any chance a service will be required within 18 months and 12k miles?

You mean your vehicle will sit at the dealership for 4 or 5 months? How and why would they allow that?Cfboys said:
Confirmed that the vehicles are coming from Cotswold Cheltenham BMW
And will be delivered in November to my house, free of delivery charge
Thanks, I knew it was Cotswold just wasn't sure which branch. And will be delivered in November to my house, free of delivery charge
Presumably they'll use a transport company to deliver/drive it. The driver be able to answer basics about the car. If I want to know more about charging and driving modes etc, beyond the basics or what's already covered in the manual then I'll either have to arrange a call with Cotswold or go to my local dealership. Thing is will my local dealership be interested in spending 15 mins with me if I'm not buying anything from them?

I have asked the question 3 or 4 times, each time they have said March is ok. I have it in an email....we will see. Already have 4 vehicles, anymore and a divorce will beckon for the new year
Did you arrange this before ordering or after order confirmation.I'm now considering pushing mine back to mid -April. The current due delivery date is early November.
I can get a hire car to tide me over at £50/week. Insurance will obviously be included and I've already got car hire excess protection.
The thinking is, by taking it in April, I get to see it through 2 summers, when the car should perform better in EV only mode and also we cover less miles in July/August due to the school run. That's 25 miles/week saved. The 8k mileage limit was already a bit of a push and I've found teh reason I'm under mileage on my current lease mostly cam about through summer. Around May time i was forecasting to be over.

I made it crystal clear from day 1 that end of March was the earliest I could take the car ( current car goes back first week of April ) I asked for email confirmation. Seems a long time to keep it, but I guess if they have sold 250 plus 225xe's for Cotswold BMW then they will be flexible. I had the same thoughts concerning running it through 2 summers, plus no school run in July/Aug. Will need to keep it under 8k plus the odd 2k miles at 12p over that and it get expensive. Who is your current car funded by ?....might extend at a competitive rate for a month or twoI'm now considering pushing mine back to mid -April. The current due delivery date is early November.

Funded by hitachi. They wanted an admin fee plus stupid monthlies for minimum 6 month extension. Not worth it all.Awt said:
So on this one we wont be able to extend the period like for say I did it on VW for 3 months (informal extension)
Better to ask as you're approaching the end of contract but my guess is the funder thinks they have a good shot at selling 18 month old ones with 12k miles on clock for a decent price.I asked about holding on to the vehicle and they said they could hold until March.
I’ve decided to stick with a quick delivery soon after import.
I also received a new set of paperwork for the hire agreement and direct debit mandate on Friday. I actually thought I’d already received these but apparently not. The previous paperwork was in relation to placing the order, the was the actual hire agreement.
Still looking at 29th Oct delivery to dealer.

Just to be 100 percent sure, road tax is not payable by us (the customer)?
Also, any chance of a service being required before the 18 months are up (assuming I did about 8000 miles by then)?
I assumed so, but it’s not been mentioned anywhere. Still to receive my finance paperwork which would confirm. Also, any chance of a service being required before the 18 months are up (assuming I did about 8000 miles by then)?
