New Zoe ZE50 should be incoming in the next few months with improved range and interior.

I've had an i3 through them since March and had no issues. A Model 3 Performance will be joining it very soon, also from EVEZY.

As you say, not sure how they do it for the price but happy to take advantage at the moment. Compared to the 5 year old ICE car it replaced the i3 is saving me around £100 a month.

You get Polar Plus charging for free with the subscription so worth checking if you have one locally if home charging not an option.

https://polar-network.com/live-map/

We've got a fast Polar charger at our local Waitrose so have never charged at any other public point in 7 months. We grab a free charge whilst shopping and having a coffee in the cafe. smile

yeh i got afew polar chargers near me, but polar isnt on the motorways apparently, so grabbed the ecotricity app, i know its 0.39p per kWH but saves me coming off the motorway just to charge - worth it to me atleast

then once i get the car home, theres a polar charger less than a mile from my house, then theres chargeplace scotland which is even closer to my house as well

app wise i got plugshare, zap-map, chargeplace scotand, ecotricity and pod-point - that'll cover mostly everywhere i drive, then if i ever use it to visit london i'll see what networks there is down that way

Where did you get the update? I can't log in to the website for some reason, I get a '403 - Forbidden' response.

Because they are inept cowboys who don't test their changes before they roll them out.

Quick update for anyone who doesn't also use the SpeakEV forum. Had an email from Evezy yesterday confirming that batch 2 Model 3's will finally be delivered at the end of this month. woohoo

Batch 3 cars are due late December which should cover all orders up to the start of October.

I've got a Zoe! I assume its a hand-back 40kWh. I signed up in July and I've just had a call from them to arrange me picking it up on Tuesday.

Nice smile Hope you like it.

I'm surprised but also not surprised that they still appear to be constantly inundated with subscribers. I think it's likely to remain this way for the forseeable now.

I signed up for Evezy and was on the waiting list for a Leaf for about 7 weeks before I emailed them asking when I might expect some availability. They told me it likely wouldn't be until into next year, so I then asked to be put on a list of anything except the Teslas.
They came back to me quickly and said I could have an i3 120Ah later that week so of course I accepted that!

I've had it for a couple of weeks now and I really like it. Well, not everything about it, but more the EV qualities of it. I've already used 1100 miles in 2 weeks to need to take it easy for a couple of weeks until my mileage allowance is reset.

Things I don't like about the i3:
- i-Drive is a terrible user interface, I don't understand why they still use it and not a touchscreen like everyone else
- Suicide doors on the rear are a pain. If you want to get something off the back seats you have to open the front and the rear door, and if you're side up against another car or a wall etc you're trapped in-between both doors. Silly idea.
- No CarPlay (although I think this is an Evezy specific thing as it wasn't specified, rather than not available at all).
- Heated seats are far to hot and harsh on even the lowest setting. Can only stand them for a few minutes then need to turn them off. Not like the gentle warm heat of my Jag.
- Why doesn't the parking brake come on automatically when I switch the car off? Seems to be a general BMW thing. It even tells me on the display to 'make sure car is secure from rolling' or something like that - why not just put the bloody brake on for me!
- The 'froot' can only be opened from the Evezy app. Why not have a button on the dash?

Things I like:
Quiet, smooth electric power, it really shifts between around 30-50 mph (then runs out of puff a little bit but still plenty of power)
One pedal driving is strange to start with but quickly get used to it.
BMW Connected app is good for viewing the charge state remotely, although a bit slow processing any actions such as lock/unlock.
Timed cabin heating is very nice for those cold mornings!
Range of 150 miles is pretty decent, although you need to drive pretty 'normally' to get this range. High speeds eat into battery power.

These are the things that immediately spring to mind. If anyone wants a referral code mine is 35ef9.

Had ours for 8 months now and agree with everything but the comment about i-Drive. Takes a little while to get used to but much better than a lot of the crappy touchscreens and menu layouts used by numerous manufacturers IME.

The fact that the automatic wipers are only automatic after you've remembered to press a button also irritates me. BMW insist on doing that for some reason which negates half of the purpose of them..

Ah yes that's on my list too!
Another very minor one is that the instantaneous consumption figure on the dash is measured in Kwh/100km, but the stats in the app are in miles/Kwh. Not sure if there is a way to change it but would be nice to be consistent and most figures I see quoted are miles/Kwh so hard to compare.

Oh and another thing, BMW couldn't be bothered to reverse the controls on the dash from LHD to suit the RHD cars - the volume and temperate knob are miles away from the drivers seat.
