Yes, you can hire for 1 month. Currently long waiting lists on all cars though.

The Tesla's need a 4 month deposit paying up front but you can still cancel after 1 month and get the other 3 refunded.

Lock/Unlock works via bluetooth on all cars now so data signal not an issue other than once a month when you need to download the key.

If you are considering signing up PM me and I'll share my referral code for £50 off for both of us. I've got 2 cars from them (i3 and Model 3 Performance) so any saving welcome. smile
Confirmed this. I'm making the journey to signing up now.

Tesla sr+ and the performance appear to be unavailable until at least end Feb. You pay 4 months up front, but can cancel after 1 month (1 week notice) and get a refund for remaining 4 months.

If you want home charging, they require you on a 6 month contract if you want to make use of the olev subsidy.

@SWoll - I registered using the OP's referral code and they told me to ensure they have an active account when I do sign up. When I get my car hopefully in feb / march, if OP isn't active i'll be in touch with you smile

The crazy thing about all this - i just looked up insurance if i were to lease a tesla performance, and it's absolutely insane. while i may save on a lease (although committed for a year), once you add insurance, power (evzy is free), maintenance, additional driver etc - you actually SAVE with this?!

Our i3 costs £399 a month with everything included and no commitment for 12k miles per year. Octopus are asking £375 a month for the same car for a 4 year commitment and 5k miles per year with nothing but the car included (no insurance, maintenance, charging)

Not sure how they do it for the price they do with no commitment past 1 month, that's why we've got 2. smile

Once thing to add about the Tesla's. They've changed the insurance on them this week and you now have to be over 30. A number of very unhappy people who've been waiting for a car for a while after that revelation.

Only for Tesla's and TBH what better excuse for not letting her drive it? wink

Thinking of biting the bullet on Evezy - the flexibility and total cost is beating any EV Lease / ICE Lease/PCP.

Not sure of vehicle yet but swaying towards i3 which looks a good starting point.

Does anyone run an EV without a home charger? I have a decent ish network locally.

Does anyone have any referral codes? Does this price come off the monthly price or just first month?

Many thanks guys

You can get an i3 much cheaper than octopus e.g. £289 a month Inc vat. and shorter periods and more miles at 6k.

If doing low miles, or need flexibility than a lease maybe cheaper but otherwise Evezy seems a good deal for a new car.

You've made the usual mistake of not including the upfront payment of £2600 so on a 2 year deal the monthly cost is really £398 with no insurance, public charging or maintenance and half the mileage allowance of Evezy.

We run 2, an i3 and a Model 3 Performance without a dedicated home charger. Then i3 is great BTW, had ours for 9 months now. We top up both overnight a couple of nights a week and then give them a decent charge at our local Polar 50kw for free whenever in town as that's included.

My code is e4859 in case you do sign up. Saves us both £50 on the first month of your subscription.

Ouch, just looked at that again and indeed has that initial payment. My bad smile

Makes you wonder how much profit (or loss) Evezy is making.

NP, people always seem to miss that as focused on "the monthlies".

Totally agree on Evezy though, no idea how they are making any money hence signed up for 2 cars as with a months commitment zero risk. Make hay while the sun shines as they say. smile

How long are people waiting for an Evezy vehicle. I subscribed in August with an expectation of an October delivery at the latest. I still have heard nothing. Anyone got their subscription refunded. I feel conned.

Have your contacted them and requested which car you want? My understanding is that there's a waiting list for all their cars so you need to get yourself added. I'm hoping to get an i3 as a stop gap in March, so I was planning on signing up in January.

Got my brand new i3 within a week of calling back in April. Took 5 months for me to get the M3P. Arrived last week having placed deposit back at the start of July.

Assuming you're waiting on a Model 3 you might get a returned car dependent on where you are on the list but if not they are now quoting Feb/March for the next delivery..

Issues with Tesla delivery and quality have delayed things massively. I'm told they had to return 20% of the cars received at the end of November due to damage/build quality problems.

A number of subscribers have had their 4 month deposits returned due to the delays, no problems with the process reported.

You need to sign up ASAP if you want a car for March. My ref code is in a post above if you'd care to use it.

I ordered a model 3 SR+ end of June and got the car end of August

I have now ordered a Model 3 performance mid October and was advised delivery mid December, contacted them on Tuesday and was advised sorry Tesla didn't give us many cars, call us back in February - I think i will give up and keep the SR+ a little longer then hand it back.

As good as the car is, i'm thinking of switching back to a petrol car.

what is your thought process behind the possible switch back?

+1

Curious as well, since Tesla is arguably the EV experience.

Range and cost would be my guess. If you need to reliably do regular 150 mile trips in the winter the SR+ is an issue.

FYI, the M3P's also aren't being supplied with FSD as was specified on the Evezy website (but has recently been removed with no communication to subscribers)

My belief is they are buying inventory cars rather than waiting on orders hence the 20% attrition rate and sudden selection of colours.
