The 20 mins are just BS, the 100 EUR is easy enough though.
You've obviously never used a Costco filling station. Father in law always goes there as the cheapest fuel around by a significant margin apparently (10p per litre cheaper?). 20 minutes of faff would be an improvement based on what he's told me, but as he's retired he has plenty of time on his hands.SWoll said:

You know what they say about assumptions though That said, I have a 100km commute that takes me past just 4 petrol stations, of which 3 are in the (vastly more expensive) Netherlands.
Anyway, filling up was a faff that I'm happy to do without, a lot more so than the occasional forced stop when going on 3h+ trips.
I was pointing out that I used to be a diesel owner that could do 1000km+ between fill ups, but in reality it was a lot more cumbersome than the EV you can fill up at home.
Just imagine you need to take your phone to the electronics goods store (only takes 5 min though!), but the battery would last you a week instead of a day. How many of us would want such a phone (genuine question, Apple wants to know )?

Why would you need to connect your phone, apart from calls and messages?
I have an iPhone and the car has car play, I’ve only used it once, the build in system is better.
Podcasts and music, rather than relying on the data connection.I have an iPhone and the car has car play, I’ve only used it once, the build in system is better.
You can add things like Spotify to the car etc.

The data connection is reliable, also free for three years.

ThanksYou can add things like Spotify to the car etc.
It's frustrating for me because I can't easily use different apps. The kids like listening to audiobooks via Audible but accessing the app is a faff - it's via bluetooth only with limited functionality. Same for listening to podcasts on the BBC apps. The only traffic system is the Google one and (personally) I find Waze is just better.
I just find it baffling that being an Android users gives you less functionality in a Google-enabled car than an Apple user has...

Anyone ordered the facelift p2?
... the heat pump.
I didn't bother, just got the pilot pack. Cost of heat pump doesn't seem to improve the efficiency enough to justify its cost. Especially in the UK... We have cold days, but not enough cold days ... the heat pump.
To those about to order a Polestar 2, I thought I'd relay my experience.
Ordered a LRDM (no packs) in August 22.
Told Jan Delivery.
This then repeatedly slipped to Feb, then March, then June, then July and then August.
Polestar were completely dismissive to be queries as to the repeated delays, citing "production priotisation" as the reason. Not very customer friendly that.
It then kept slipping week by week to the point that I cancelled it.
It was actually a relief to cancel - I'd test driven one and wasn't very impressed at all, but wasn't able to order anything else comparable at the time.
