That sucks!

Turns out it was just a lot of hot air.

Couldn't have happened to a nicer bloke ( with comiserations to those regular folk who may lose their jobs )

there was no solid investment plan behind Dyson's dream of building an EV, he was not capable of doing this alone and who was willing to invest billions in a new EV manufacture alone.

Well, no-one wants a £100k+ EV made by a company famous for making overpriced and under-performing vacuum cleaners I agree.

I think he underestimated the mainstream manufacturers. He thought he would be behind Tesla but years ahead of the rest.

The mainstream caught up very quickly and removed his niche. I expect he will cut his losses and sell anything of any interest to the chinese.
