( you do know it’s a joke .... or is it .... it is believable based on what’s happening )
I -thought- it was a joke, but a lot of folks seem to think it is real! Witchfinder said:
It's a political joke, hence my question about why it's in the EV forum.
The fact that gammons are getting so upset about it doesn't say so much about Labour or the dreaded S-word as it does about the gammons.
please!! NP&E is a constant ststorm of argument and slurs, can we just have a bit of gentle ribbing without going down the same route? The fact that gammons are getting so upset about it doesn't say so much about Labour or the dreaded S-word as it does about the gammons.

He nearly won last time. Was May worse than Boris, a man with a reputation for lying constantly, spaffing money up the wall willy-nilly, failing at brexit, under multiple investigations, suppressing the Russian interference report...
The only people who want him are brexit extremists who think he will get it done for them, and the very wealthy who don't want to pay a little bit more tax.
It seem to be a trend that most of the party get a new leader that is worse than the predecessor. The only people who want him are brexit extremists who think he will get it done for them, and the very wealthy who don't want to pay a little bit more tax.
T.May->BoJo, Red Ed->JC
We live in a democratic society that offer no choice. When will we finally have a government that put the country interest before personal and party interest

Wow, not content with filling every thread with "why is the M3 better than every other car", we now have lazy political drivel?
Maybe people can take their politics arguments to another forum so this can be about EVs... or do people want to implement Godwin's law on this forum too?
Whilst I agree in principal, you aren't forced to either read or post on the thread?Maybe people can take their politics arguments to another forum so this can be about EVs... or do people want to implement Godwin's law on this forum too?
It'll die a quick death anyway I'm sure if people stop posting and bringing it back to the top of the forum.
Oops..

Great to throw insults at people and from the person buying a Polestar 2 manufactured in China. The country that has such a fantastic record on human rights that it uses live ammunition on demonstrators. Says a lot about your values that you appear to support a regime who treat their own people in such a disgusting way oh and don’t forget the Uyghurs. Think about it every time you drive it The fact that gammons are getting so upset about it doesn't say so much about Labour or the dreaded S-word as it does about the gammons.

You seem to have a very specific beef with Polestar. Can I assume you're venting spleen elsewhere on companies who are manufacturing goods in China? What are your thoughts on Tesla's Gigafactory 3? Where was the electronic device you used to post your invective made?
As someone who has "ordered over 50 BMWs" are you equally objecting to their production in Shengyang, and their partnership with Brilliance?

Remember when all the businesses were going to leave last time Labour got in?
The loons currently in control of the Labour Party consider that administration to have been "red Tories".Witchfinder said:

As an outsider I am astonished that anyone would vote for Labour. All of the strategies seem to completely ignore competitiveness and the mobility of capital. The idea that companies will pull up and leave is not the big issue- it’s that the risk of investing in an economy run on a hard left strategy is too high.
Why invest in the UK compared to (say) Vietnam?
If it is all free then taxes are astronomical. Global companies look at the world like a big spreadsheet. Market size, labour cost, safety, tax and legal environment and so on. Further, top talent is mobile too. If there is no opportunity for wealth creation there will ultimately be no wealth
I have no problem whatsoever making companies pay fair taxes but it has to be reasonable.
