Struggling to get over 140 miles on a full charge even with cruise control set at 65mph on the motorway. Anyone else having this problem? If I stop at a CCS charger the most range I can get in 45 mins is about 70 miles. This cant be right?

I am loathed to put it into the dealer as I know I will probably not see it again for weeks.

Is there any kind of calibration I can do?

Sounds like that could be about right looking at Jag’s own range calculator.

That isn't right. You should be getting nearer 200 miles.

So the jaguar website says using the heating will use 20% more battery. So it was pretty cold during these drives so the cabin heater was kind of required!

So if I plug in outside temp of 0c and heater on, motorway driving and 18 inch wheels their own website says 157 miles. You know what I reckon that's not far off. Well, that's a bit of a shock. It basically makes trips of 65-70 miles the limit of this vehicle IMHO. To be safe, if there was bad traffic or an emergency or detour then perhaps even 60 miles.

That's nuts.

Ouch. I’m going to look at one of these tomorrow but this has got me wondering whether I really want to be giving up an I3 Rex for 140 miles in cold weather!

Are the Tesla’s any better?

Sounds about right . In this weather (near freezing) with heating and lights on, EV's will be around half quoted range

Is this with pre-conditioning when plugged in to a 7kW+ charger? Mine is showing 200 ish miles with this scenario but I have to admit my driving recently has mainly been urban, rather than motorway.

I've been getting more like 170-180 miles at motorway speeds recently. It should be even better if you set the cruise to 65.

The lowest range I have seen predicted on a full-charge is 150 miles - this was after driving very inefficiently and on a cold day. 170 is more typical during this cold spell.

Doesn’t matter how I drive or what the temp is my predicted range is always 201 miles
What miles / kWh do you get ?

Same, even with pre heating, range is dropping at mileage achieved, not taken it below 50% battery though...

Last week I did a journey of 95 miles almost all motorway at cruise of 70mph, departing at 11pm. Range went from 60% to 10%. Jaguar reports average consumption of 40 kWh/100 miles. Average speed was 62mph.

Can you show us details of a recent long distance journey from the app?

39.50 kWh/100km WOW!

I'd rate my i3 consumption as "terrible" when it gets to about half of that....

Does the picture not say per 100mi, rather than 100km? Making it 24.68kW/h/100km. still not great compared to an i3 but better than it looks
