I wouldnt necessarily say no one, but the percentage is very small....What worries me is the self gratifying smugness that some, thankfully a small number, of 'eco friendly' car owners like to push. And when you wrap that up with the misguided governments of the world desperately trying to buy credibility, we end up with a situation where EV's are sold to the public as some sort of magical savior of the world, which they aren't.
But hey, bad news sells and we should expect to see more and more exposé programs and articles - Tesla today, VW group tomorrow?

Tbh studies have shown just how badly Euro 4 and even Euro 5 diesel have impacted air quality in major cities the past couple of decades. One of the conclusions was that Euro 4 diesels, 12% of the cars, are currently responsible for half of the fine particles and a quarter of the total NO2.
Similar studies are available for London and Paris.

The climate best solution is to kill most of the people in the developed world. This surprisingly seems somewhat unacceptable.
Second best solution is walking/riding/public transport.
But despite how many trees you hug this is a long shot for most of the world and isnt going to happen in the timeframe we need. We all know how long a new rail line takes to build..
Cars & energy & ground transport in general are solved problems and make up a massive chunk of co2 and pollution, yet the BBC still bh about it, ignore the tesla impact report and make bullst up for some reason. They are supposed to be some leftist enclave so I find it a bit odd.
By the sounds of it they had a go at cobalt, I assume ignoring its use in phones and laptops, ignoring its use in refining petrol, ignoring that a massive percentage of tesla cars dont use cobalt and those that do get most of it from Australia.
Yet another hit piece trying to slow down saving the planet.
