Z4 Coupe Aftermarket wheels

Haha
I was thinking about alpina for the sole reason that they never made an alpina coupe so could be interesting to sort of make an alpina coupe look??
I love the CSLs and have a set if genuine ones on another car but will be selling them along with the car and want something different
Looking at Bolas
TSW
?

I'm afraid nothing will touch CSL reps on a Z4C, they just work so well
They do look bloody good to be fair.ruggedscotty said:
don't you dare put alpinas on a non alpina
Why not?I've had Alpina Softlines on my previous E36s...I may even fit them to my current E46.
They also make a very effective door stop.

Not heard of Bola alloys, which design did you have in mind?I was thinking about alpina for the sole reason that they never made an alpina coupe so could be interesting to sort of make an alpina coupe look??

Do TSW still make alloys? I remember their 'Venoms' from back in the day.

Actually scrap that, now I'm looking at gunmetal grey 19 inch csl reps and I think I have to get some
Any recommendations on where to buy decent reps
See what the guys at BMAutosport can offer; they've usually got a superb selection of alloys in and they're a great company to deal with Any recommendations on where to buy decent reps
I put genuine 18" Z4M wheels on mine, which made the rear look much more purposeful as the Z4 rear axle is different to the Z4M, so with the same ET they sit just flush with the fender. Combined with a Bilstein B12 kit it made it ride and handle so much better than on the original suspension with 17" RFT.
It originally had replica CSL 19" wheels on it, and while they look amazing the ride was terrible, 18" much better.

Does anyone know if E90 wheels will fit on an E86?
ALL BMW wheels are on here; find the wheels you like and see what their offsets are and see if they match or are close to what you need http://felgenkatalog.auto-treff.com/
ET is the German abbreviation for offset ('Einpresstiefe') - so the distance between the centreline of the wheel to the hub mating face. There are some online calculators for comparisons, e.g. this one: https://www.willtheyfit.com/ You put your existing wheel and tyre dimensions in, your new ones too, then it says how much they will poke out / in, and what the rolling circumference difference will be.
You can get all the wheel dimension data you require from the website link a few posts up.

Where does it list the offset?
(I have a spare set of Style 287 from an E91 and want to know if I can use them to replace corroded Style 108 on my E86.)
So style 287's are a staggered set, 8x18 ET34 front, and 8.5x18 ET39 rear.(I have a spare set of Style 287 from an E91 and want to know if I can use them to replace corroded Style 108 on my E86.)
Style 108's have the same wheel dimensions, but different offsets, namely 47mm front, and 50mm rear.
So putting those dimensions into the calculator says:
Front: Compared to your existing wheel, this new wheel will have an inner rim which is 13mm further away from the suspension strut. The outer rim will poke out 13mm more than before.
Rear: Compared to your existing wheel, this new wheel will have an inner rim which is 11mm further away from the suspension strut. The outer rim will poke out 11mm more than before.
So as the new Style 287 wheels will protrude more than the old Style 108 wheels, it depends on whether 13mm/11mm is too much & they would foul on the bodywork. Personally I think they'd be fine, but that's your call.
