Lease companies buy in bulk with a big discount.
No doubt they are still making money somewhere.

Started it about 1pm today.

For the money. Great. Not sure why but I keep comparing it to my Model S.
The E Pedal is great, didn't use the brakes once on my way home last night. Eco mode is scarily slow so can only be used pottering around or once on the motorway as it pretty much zaps 80% of the acceleration.
It's pretty comfortable, got all the toys and very easy to drive.
Fully charged this morning showed 156 miles and after my 22 mile commute, I have 119 miles left so not so sure about how many miles i'll actually get to a full charge driving it normally.
Hate the fact it has switches like the heated seat switches that i'm pretty sure were in a 2003 Nissan I had.
Rear heated seat switch is on the side of the front passenger seat which is bizarre!
Overall, it seems perfectly fine for what it is but the fact I don't have an app to use, pisses me off alot. I used it loads with my Tesla so wanted to do the same with this.

Grrrrrr!!!Regards the app, I'm now up to 31/32 services activated after 3 days. The only one not activated is driving history. Can heat the car from the app (very handy this morning) and see the charge status. The time to full charge is different on the app to the car dash reading though
Try restarting your phone as well, or killing the app as I think there's an issue with the app staying running in the background
After a couple of days I have to say I’m impressed. It’s my 2nd car to use alongside my X3 M40i so it’s chalk and cheese really but I have to say I do like EV driving.
Roll on the X3 electric and I might jump on that too.
Quite a bit safety kit and does what it says on the tin. Averaging 3.8 m/kWh so far which I am pleased with.
The app is absolutely painful and still stuck on 22/32 and as such the my leaf app is only half working too.

I'm pretty sure there are third party apps that work with it. A friend had a Mk1 Leaf with an App that he found on Android.It could switch on heating, etc. Might be one for yours?

Anyone had much look with the OVO trial? I’ve sent them pictures but can’t find the water bonding die a recent extension. During the extension we had the kitchen moved to the opposite side of the extension, however it is all boxed in. My electrician said he ‘thinks’ it was all plastic, but can’t remember. I’m finding it very frustrating!

I had them round last week to do a site survey. I’m waiting on the results, he said it was 50/50 as to whether they would do the install despite having an extremely flexible set up. They seem selective to me and as an Ovo customer already, if they say no, I’ll switch to Octopus Go.Rscut said:

Getting frustrated here too. They sorted out the upgrade of the main fuse via the power company but I've heard nothing since despite chasing. I'll give them one more chase but if I hear nothing that'll be itSargeant Orange said:

At the real price you can get them for, the 40kwh Leaf seems to be competing directly with the MG ZS EV - they're pretty similar in terms of practicality, range, price and performance.
I'd say it competes directly with the Hyundai Ioniq Electric, although the Ioniq seems to be a much ignored car.Driving both the new Leaf and the Ioniq we've just put an order in for the latter. Currently we have a 2017 Leaf.

No cost so far, they literally turned up, pulled one fuse out & stuck another in. They were here 2 minutes.Yes the free charger is the only appeal really, pod point seems to be £400+ now when you enter the leaf 40kwh as the model.
I recently had an amazing deal with Express Vehicles Contract. I do not know how I managed to bag it, but I am now leasing a Nissan Leaf Tekna, 40kw in red. I have 6000 miles per annum for 2 years and am paying £218 per month including the service package. I absolutely love the car, the only negative is going to be giving it back after 2 years.
