I actually spat my mouthful tea across the room when I saw that.

Anyway, my PHEV bought 2 months ago. Does all my running about and commuting on EV but I do have a monthly requirement for a long journey which it also does with no probs by burning dinosaurs (but not many of them)

I concur. Full electric AWD with performance comparable to Tesla's P package and they'd have a winner already. I'm astonished BWM missed a step here. I would have loved an i8 but with it being neither one thing nor the other the performance is just not enough for me to get my cheque book out. WHAT a looker though.
