For what it's worth, there is now a 'brochure' on the Hyundai site plus the configurator. Main page has also been updated to show specifications. Only catch is the brochure is a few placement shots and the configurator does not offer the options. In addition none of the images or views show the roof of the car. Reason I say is there is no mention of the panoramic roof nor solar panels (the latter is meant to be on the ltd edition release car only for the UK).

as looking around, I think I'd take one of these over any Tesla/polestar/audi etc.

I can't see a release date though?

also, the Ioniq 5 N would be instantly top of the list

I went in the local dealers yesterday to enquire and told they will have a demo car next month and then will be taking orders but 6 months from then before delivery.

All I will state is while in pictures it looks like a small 80's hatchback, it's not, it's huge and really it's an SUV.

As long as you're aware of this go ahead.

Ordered one today on a lease to replace the ipace. Ultimate AWD in white and ignored the option packs. All the reviews of it from CAR etc have been overwhelmingly positive. Due November.(ish)

What did you get a lease quote from? what sort of money?

https://leasing.com/car-leasing/hyundai/ioniq-5/el...

Pricing appears all over the place for the minute with one Hyundai dealer apparently undercutting other options significantly.

DSG…

1+47 £519.20 5kpa. 9ppm excess. So no point in going for the higher mileages. Normally I wouldn’t have touched a 48 month lease, but the Hyundai Warranty is longer anyway.

The Premium was £483 on the same terms.

Not sure I have done the right thing. But….. it so looks like an Intergrale

Yes DSG seem to be able to beat everyone by miles.

Be interesting to see how long those DSG deals last or if its just to get a few cars out there to drum up interest? Jaguar did similar with the iPace initially and heavily subsidised some deals.

I was lucky enough to get the 1+18 @£408 for the ipace. I’m currently running it on informal extension till March, so the timing of this is great.

Have you driven the 5?
I’d like to get one for the wife to replace her ETron .

The ipace is a class act . Is the 5 any good ??

Nope not driven. There have been a coup of reviews (CAR being one IIRC) that have been very complementary about it. Even going to far as to suggest it is fun on a B road.

Scrub that, they’ve just come back at £563.

I’m waiting for a quote on the eco pack.
