You won't have any trouble selling after.

The weather last year wasn't too bad (although I lost 2 gazebos) but a Moke? Not very practical or weatherproof is it?http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Austin-Mini-Moke-Scamp-/...

...or will it? the XC90 is certainly only 2WD in reverse and I've bene told it's the same for all Volvo "AWD" models. SO, it'll get you anywhere as long as you're going forwards On another automobile traders site there's FASH Audi S6 Avant for £3995, bound to take an offer although £3,500 might be pushing it (no pun intended!). 4.2 V8, bags of room, bags of oomph

£2500, what more could you need You've got a grand left to fix her up a bit!
I also see the MIB team are selling their 2012 Le Mans "Limo".

Slightly off topic, but what abpout renting a couple of cars. Someone like Bespokes (no connection) will do you a Morgan Plus 8 and a 964 cab for the weekend for about a grand, no worries about onward selling then either - I've done it a couple of times and really enjoyed it.
Not for Le Mans (I am saving for a '80's Bentley) but that is a good idea for a weekend in Blighty. Thanks for the tip!RVVUNM said:

No connection to seller of said item: markmidwales? This is what we took to the Classic last year - bought between 4 of us the day before after nearly two hours of internet research .
1990 Bentley 8 Active suspension (just like Nigel's Williams F1, except it only seemed to work on right handers and had handling best described as Tectonic shift or, maybe more appropriately, Continental drift ) - £4k and although the wipers flew off the first time we used them (we wired them back on with a handy bit of fence wire, but we were too scared to use them in case they flew off again. Having said that the vertical screen and 110mph cleared the screen of torrential rain no problem without the need of wipers) and we had a bit of an electrical fire in the fusebox after we arrived (which we fixed using the cabling from the 90's mobile phone set into the back armrest, our nail clippers and some butter knifes from the hotel), it ran like a train and caused a stir everywhere. Sitting in the tunnel queue in the middle of GT3's and Fezzas etc sipping chilled champers, we were bizarrely getting all the attention in our tatty old luxo shed.
We made it there and back, admittedly with as many warning lights as Apollo 13 as we re entered Calais, but it got us all home and we've now decided to keep it so we spent a couple of grand to get it basically roadworthy. It sailed through the MOT and now has 12 months tax!
We had a lot of laughs in it
