I'm fairly fanatical about not missing my daily gym weight workout. I leave Thursday and not back until Sunday night. What do other people do? Is there a gym nearby?!!

Whatever you do, please do it far away from our group, I'd hate for anything sensible to spoil our boozy relaxed weekend of indulgence.

After the previous days beer and merguez intake I dare not lift a thing. It's just too risky! biggrin

P*ss taking aside now. I exercise pretty much every day, I eat healthy and get the regulation number of hours sleep a night. Le Mans is my week off from all of that. Maybe try doing the same?

The time flies by so quickly when you are having fun with your mates (hopefully) in the sunshine, seeing some nice cars and watching the greatest motor race on the planet.

I think thats good advise although suspect I may sneak some weights into the boot of my maserati, all to keep the back end in line of course.

Never mind keeping fit at Le Mans, it's important to get yourself fit FOR Le Mans, only a month to go, you can't just go straight into a week of sitting in a gazebo drinking beer and eating sausages, the body needs to be prepared.

On Friday morning there is usually a run around the track leaving from Tertre Rouge.

You will do plenty of walking, if you camp exactly 100 meters from the loo then you will do several kilometers a day for sure

Please be staying in houx. I'd love to see someone trying to impersonate muscle beach in the middle of a LM campsite. I bet no-one would take the piss at all!

I'll pass on the gym shenanigans but I'm itching to take my bike and do a few laps of the circuit.

I'm certainly not interested in keeping fit but I am bringing my bike and I'd love to do a full lap, Porsche curves to tertre rouge, when's the best time to try that?

On Fridays the track is closed for the pit walk etc...does anyone know if you can get all the way round on a bike/on foot?

OK road bike I assume or off road?
I can point you to lots of good routes for both.

You can cycle the circuit 10 mins after the race from Dunlop, you'll miss most of the podium stuff though.
