We have been making the 'Yvetot' detour avoiding Rouen for the last four years. Nice to get on some French B roads for a small section of the journey and normally stop for a break at the car park overlooking Pont Bretonne.

Agre and just across the bridge and to the left, there's a nice small village with some decent cafes too.

That's a stunning view! We've stopped at the McD's near the Leclercs just after Yvetot before but that looks way more scenic - anything else about there or is it just a car park?

Exactly.

Our convoy left together at 9 and we have one who, for some strange reason, insists on going via Rouen come hell or high water. We stopped at the supermarket at Yvetot for about half an hour to get some lunch then again at Cite Europe to stock up on vin and fois gras and were only 20 mins behind him arriving at the tunnel in the end. Much prettier route as well.
Shhhhh! FFS don't give the game away! rofl

Nothing there itself but Caudebec-en-Caux has nice cafes and a river view. West of the bridge once you cross.

No, nothing there but some picnic tables. Its first left once over the bridge heading south. Its the old area where the toll booths and administration for the bridge when it had tolls. There is a toilet in the parking area on the other side of the road but plenty of trees in this one.

Doing my bit to keep the Le Mans forum going at least until July.

On the way home one year just south of Rouen we turned off down a little alpine style road to a lovely place called La Bouille, its on the banks of the Seine. We found a family run hotel/resturant and had the most splendid lunch at a very reasonable price. I believe there is a petrol station very nearby on the main road too, all in all much better the toll road services.
