Pitches are one car per pitch and as many people as you want to squeeze on it but if someone wants to bring a motorbike in, do they have to pay for a pitch to get the bike in ?

Thanks

yes, each vehicle needs a pass, we usually have at least one bike and they always need a camping pass, however if you have a big enough van and your bike fits inside you can get it into the site, however difficulty using it when you are down there.

Thanks gt6, pretty much what we thought. six people in two cars and three bikes means we have to buy 5 freaking pitches if the guys want to use the bikes outside the campsite.... Expensive,,,,,

9 people on 5 pitches is about right. You will loose a whole space to park two cars. Probably another to park 3 bikes that leaves 3 for potentially 9 tents!!

Last year I bought a large pitch just for the cars. I’m sure it will be possible to buy a pitch and put at least all the motorbikes on it plus a car.

Yep, that's about it. ACO rules I am afraid. If you have to gain access to a site through an ACO manned gate, then every motorized vehicle should have a pass.
Which means motor bike or camper should have the same pass. It is very unfair. If it is access to a private site, then you may be able to blag your way through, but to one of the public sites, I think the rules will be enforced.

If you pick Houx / other green area, the parking at MMM is free. Bung em there and you can always use the car as a shuttle bus if people are allergic to walking.

As to people scoffing at 6 ppl on 5 pitches, we have done 6 on 2 and had plenty room. You're camping, not expanding the realm!

We've also done 5 people and a car on 1 pitch, that was a lot less fun. Still, you always make a cock of the job on your first try!
