Hope you all enjoyed the drive down… a big thankyou to theredmini, eastsider and Daxed for assisting in keeping the group together.

Apologies and thanks to you all for bump-starting me throughout the day – the car survived 950 miles with a broken starter motor.

What a great event! It was our first experience of the Classic and I can see us alternating between it and the 24hr now.

Hope you all had a decent drive home and maybe see you again for a future trip down to Le Mans.

Hi all,
We’ll be travelling down to the LeMans on the Thursday, but I think we’ll be a little too late to joint this proposed convoy (we’re on the Portsmouth to Caen ferry, which docks around 3pm local time)
As I’ve not been down this way before and we’re in no rush to get there, guidance and support for a pleasant run on the way down would be appreciated. So if could be copied in on the proposed route plan, or other recommendations it would be highly appreciated
Regards,
Andy
We're on the same crossing - look out for 3 TVR's. 2 Cerberas and a tuscan
Byker, I think we spotted you on the way out of LM yesterday morning. My Griff might have been out of sight behind a van in the petrol station but there was a Martini striped Porsche 930 turbo, a lime green 911T & a new Corvette in our convoy.

I got all excited as you rumbled past!

The convoy down was a big part of a massively great weekend. Thanks to miner49er for all of the organisation. We had a great time and I too think that the 24 Hours and the Classic will alternate from now on.
