Does anyone happen to have any discount codes for a tight old scrote to save a few bob please?

Hadn't realised it was this weekend - might go tomorrow and pay on the door. (assuming no discount codes for Friday - if so, post 'em up!).

Went a couple of years ago and enjoyed it.

None of the codes I found actually got any discount. If you book on-line it's £23.50 instead of £26.

I bought two tickets and they email you a .pdf to print.

Going Saturday.

...but then a "transaction fee" I bet! So probably very little in it vs paying on the door.

£30 Friday, not sure why so expensive, but I can't do Sat or Sun so guess I will have to cough up.

Yeah went Friday. Was good, but a bit "same-ey" if you've been before (same stands in the same places etc). Some fantastic cars there, good way to spend a day "window shopping" (I should have worked harder at school, and I might be able to afford some of the cars on offer).

Know what you mean there. Have been twice and very samey. Would have liked to see the auction on Sunday though.

Likewise, some great metal in the auction.

Was chatting to an older chap at the station (late 70's I guess) who i saw reading the brochure and had obviously been to the show, really nice guy, and he saw his old car in the auction! Tempted as he was to buy it back, he was going to resist.

biggrin Hope I never see any of mine in an auction - will be similarly tempted to come home with it/them. But then I can't seem to bring myself to sell anything!

Went on Friday, nobody there from C&SC or Octane so a bit disappointing. Did anyone else think there were more trade stands than before, encroaching into the car space?

That was the feeling I got last time - shopping time wink
