Plan to do LM with a (pretty big) motorhome in 2018. Any suggestions as to which site (at the circuit) could be appropriate?

I think officially the only places you can put a motorhome are Expo and PZ54 but they're still only 7x5 pitches so you'll struggle with anything longer than 7m. Reality is loads of sites have motorhomes on them, always seen some proper big ones down by Porsche Curves (beside PZ54) but don't actually know what site that is.

PZ54 and Expo are at least hard standing as you don't really want to be parked in mud for a week, you'll get the thing out!

I used to go on a London Bus to Annexe, they dont come much bigger than that. Never bogged down there, other big old vehicles go plus you can get a satelite signal (sometimes tricky in Houx)

If it fits on 7 x 5m you'll be fine in any campsite. Best to go for a camping ticket that isn't an allocated space to avoid you having a tree in the middle of the pitch or a space you can't get into if everyone's already pitched tents up to the edges of it. Aim to get there by Wednesday lunchtime at the latest to have a chance of various choices for where to set up. If we take a motorhome we like to get there by Monday or Tuesday lunchtime, the earlier the better.

Also if the spaces are unnumbered you can always buy 2 tickets to create a 7 x 10m or 14 x 5m pitch depending on the area you need / what's available when you get there. We usually get 2 pitches to fit motorhome with awning (7x5m), gazebo and VW camper van.

I booked two 7x5 pitches, with electric hook-up in Houx. Plus two tickets for Dunlop grandstand so all sorted. The large pitch (and space on ferry) means a few mates can also come with tents at no extra cost (apart from tickets).

We go to the Porsche Curves campsite, which is spot on, and there are always some proper big motor homes there.

Houx non numbered pitch will be ideal for you. Self contained motorhome in a perfect site, you chose where you park.

Agreed. Have a friend who will only go to Houx non numbered in his motorhome. Arrive early enough in the week and you've plenty of choice and flexibility on location so you can find a bit that suits the size of your motorhome, my mate's never had a problem so he says.

I have been on Houx for the last 2 years with my Motorhome, helps if you are part of a larger group.
