Stickered up for Le Mans 2018
Discussion
Ok gents, been waiting for someone to kickstart the stickered up 2018 thread so ended up doing it myself.
This one
is getting this additional smacked on the side (sometime in March when it's drier)
Anyone know for sure Alpine is back in LMP2? I bloody well hope they are or we' ll look a bit weird....
Nice anecdote: ' 78 is our year of birth but someone pointed out it's also the only year Renault won LM outright as manufacturer (with a Renault Alpine A442B) ... pure coincidence ... or is it?
See you at Houx in June !

I think Alpine fall foul of the 'no manufacturers in P2' rule from this year, with their road cars going on sale, wouldn't be the greatest shock the world has ever seen to see a French manufacturer being allowed round the rules though, either way we'll know next week ,entry list announcement is on the 9th Hi Jenna,
I just followed the instructions from StickeredUp4LeMans, making sure the edges were thoroughly cleaned with methylated spirit. I then just laid the stripes on and folded them round the corners, gently using a hair dryer to make them more pliable. They been on for 18 months and there’s been no problem with peeling on the edges.

18 months! Getting them off might take a while.I just followed the instructions from StickeredUp4LeMans, making sure the edges were thoroughly cleaned with methylated spirit. Hi guys,
Just ordered this scheme from Dan at SUFLM, and thinking ahead slightly, are these easy to remove after the evnt. The stickers will only be on the car for maybe 3 weeks or so. And what is the favoured method of getting them off?
Cheers
Rick
A couple of weeks and you'll be fine. Warm them with a hair drier and gently peel them off. Bit of polish and you are sorted.Just ordered this scheme from Dan at SUFLM, and thinking ahead slightly, are these easy to remove after the evnt. ^ this works well, though applying very warm water to the stickers will also help if you're in the process of cleaning the car, or leave the car in direct sunshine on a warm day. Also make sure the paintwork is free of stone chips and well polished before you apply them D

I've found giving the car a good polish prior to applying helps the removal too. I've only ever had one issue where I'd had the car painted and the underlying paint wasn't particularly brilliant so the top coat came off about the size of a 10p coin. And I've applied quite a lot of stickers over the years!Just ordered this scheme from Dan at SUFLM, and thinking ahead slightly, are these easy to remove after the evnt.
