I think some of the pitches you have numbered are non numbered pitches. Row 4 pitch 14 was a Non Numbered pitch last year. Key shows them as an “r” they are hard to see in the photos.

Very difficult to make out the detail and I suppose it may change year to year but hopefully will give you a bit of an idea.

Unfortunately when I zoom out to take the pic the cell entries go to ##
I'm sure there is a better way to share it when complete.

I've stayed there before. It's actually not bad at all. There will most likely be the big or man's vinyl along the wire fence, giving a barrier between you and the entry. I didn',t find it disturbing, and you're nice and close to the sit down bogs and the showers. Dry up that end, too - so if the cat lied to us you'll not be one of the campers relocating tents when it gets squishy!

That's a relief!! Do the pitches have electric points by them?

From memory, the electricity point for 53 is right by the entrance railing between 52 and 53. Bring a decently long lead and you'll have no bother. We always bring a big blue to 3 pin, but didn't use it the year we were in 53 because there was less need to share the plug than out in the main field bit where there are more pitches per power point.

We’ve got most of Rang 56 right opposite the entrance, same as the last 3 years. It’s a good spot: no flooding, relatively level, easy access to power and water, although a bit dusty for parking. Pop over to say hi - you’ll recognise us by the Big Coq Racing sign :-)

We're in houx too, not sure where, keep an eye out for a grey jag estate, and some middle aged men celebrating getting old disgracefully 🍻

Some of them can't be in row 5 for example there are a number of pitches next to where we were and these didn't have anything that could prevent camping I am also sure there are no trees up in row 2.

I can never understand why the ACO don't let us have a map, it would save a lot of time when we arrive.
Maybe they make it up the week before!!
I think quite often they do - it depends on some of the ground conditions... If it's bad on a plot they just make it non-numbered, job jobbed.

I doubt they are that organised the whole site is Random French! LM overall is notorious for no signage, daft detours etc

It',s intentional! Look at the place numbers on Rick's map. Number 1 is always bottom left. Well, except 1 where it's backwards and at the top.

Seen the map while waiting to get in and it looks the same. Provided numbers haven’t changed!

Have the numberings changed recently or is the map (HOUX 2017 / 2018) still up-to-date?

According to Paul at Just Tickets there are alot of changes to Houx this year including an area reserved for race team camping? I hope they enjoy German house music at 4am!

All of the maps I've seen are from previous years so I fear we will have to "wait and see"

Aye, Kevin my ticket man says he doesn't even have a map of the site, just blocks / grid by number. He assures me that 9 and 13 are together, i trust him he's always been good in the past.

I think this year the ACO has decided to up the random drama to 11 for fun, but it's LM so random is always part of it smile

Like previous hears, i'll try to photo the aco maps again. Will share if i can!
