After years of wanting to take it .we are finally are taking a Honda Dax .110 c.c with rear pegs .
So

We can hopefully get to Arnage .. I've never made it in the last 10 years due to the aggro and the ACO stand being so good and being free from the constraints of Car and traffic .

Roll on LM

Any one else doing similar

Beware if it doesn’t have number plates and appears road legal the ACO do not turn kindly to these being run on the campsites.

It does have number plates .it's for using in the road .
around the circuit and general road use.
not around the camp site .

Sorry it wasn’t meant as a dig, I see no problem with them used properly. It’s the p****y type I don’t!

We've taken mopeds in the past, very good idea. Makes life so easy getting around the circuit. I suggest a visit to hotel arbor I think its called, just after the 2nd chicane on the mulsanne straight.

Sorry for the thread resurrection...

I've ridden a go-ped from Houx to Arnage several times on the Saturday night. I just stick some cheapo bike lights on it as a token effort. Straight past the old bill, no attention given. Usually a few beers worse for wear too although not so bad I can't ride the thing. Clearly not road legal and no number plates.

Standard rules apply in my experience: don't be a dick and you'll probably be fine.

EDIT to add: the comment made above is correct though; best to hide it on arrival to the campsite (in your car) as they're technically not allowed although the security have never been too fussed about them being ridden in and out.
