One for lowdrag I reckon.

Will we be needing the crit.air stickers for LM this year. I'm going to the coast later in the month and I note that Angers requires that you have one, also, it appears, the whole of the Vendee is now covered as well as Eure-et-Loir.

I'm not sure how the whole thing works but it seems to me that it's a money making opportunity to fine the thousands of Brits who have no idea about it.

Details here. https://www.crit-air.fr/en.html

Over to you lowdrag......

Unless you are going a very scenic route to LM then you won't need one, but might if you are touring elsewhere.

However, it does seem a bit of a money making scheme as most of the zones are only going to have exclusions on very rare occasions, so a foreign tourist making a trip once or twice a year is never likely to be excluded (although you might have to keep your eye on the app to confirm the zone status).

There doesn't seem to be an end-date on the sticker (unless that is something else they are being vague about) so lord knows what happens when a newer Euro standard comes along. They seem to have done the numbering the wrong way around (1 should be for the dirtiest vehicle, then you can add new numbers on the end of the scheme).

There's another thread in the PH Holidays forum with more details.

So if I understand this correct my 1997 Range Rover will not be allowed around most of France soon!

Just ordered mine as going west to Rennes on the way home. Not sure if it doesn’t come into force there until later in the year but as someone else said at least I’m covered wherever I go now.

Not any help to you but I read on here that a Swiss bloke's 928 isn't allowed into Stuttgart any more.

Does anyone know how long the regular ordering takes? I expect I might need to think about the express option. Only just realised we will need one for the onward trip to Rochelle. bks.

F me, what a load of ste.
The missus and I did a weekend in Paris 2 weeks ago where according to the link this is all now in effect.
As you'd expect no one seems to be following their own stupid rules. It was about the most polluted city we've been to, couldn't believe the amount of older knackered dirty diesels there were driving around

Hardly a scheme to catch Brit, the French seem to be doing a good enough job of getting themselves caught out

I believe there is no restriction during evenings and weekends for cars.

We did our bus tour Friday, it was still really bad. I bet they all cheat the rules
