Each year for the past 8 or so, Team Langoustine have run the track on a Thursday or Friday morning.
Due to circuit activity, we have moved towards Friday, so on Friday 15th 8:30am we will meet at the TL compound (inside the Tertre Rouge' corner) and run the full circuit.
Official TL 2018 T shirts to the winner and runner up.

This is not an official ACO sanctioned run and they do not guarantee full access, but as yet we have never been stopped from running through the Porsche curves and up the start.finish straight.

So, if you fancy it be at the TL compound 8:30 Friday morning with your running shoes on.

I bailed last year, but am determined to make amends this time.
Run off with the whippets or plod with beer lovers!

9 miles of pain and heat drift into insignificance compared to the pleasure of a cup of ice poured into your shorts on your return! smile

Do you have to be any good, or would a (just about) sub 30 minute novice parkrunner be welcome?

I’m in. Been desperate to do this for years.

Not going to win but if it’s a cool day then maybe 75 mins, if it’s hot (please) then probably more like 90 mins.

Dr Feelgood the night before might be the excuse I need to stay sober-ish...maybe.

I'm doing it on my bike Friday morning. Did wonder about access to the Curves, but seems we may be ok from what you say.

We got turned back at Porche Curves about 9-9.30 last year (on bikes), but had no problem other years

Also did it on my bike last year on the Friday morning.
Bloody marvellous, even though I couldn’t do the last bit through the Porsche curves either.

I'll be there in spirit - but running it sounds like an unnecessary hardship!

Guys. There's a real mix of abilities and speed.
I run a 5 min per K over a 10K distance. But I will be taking it easy and plod at 6/6.5 min per K. As it will be warm and we will have beer running through our veins, maybe slower.

I am in no hurry, so will be happy to run at the slowest pace. Just join in. Not adversed to walking a bit if need be.

I'm up for this, always wanted the Le Mans circuit map on my running route history! Just one question - is the entrance to the TL compound close by the Parking Vert entrance to the circuit?

I can do about 10 miles so should be up for it, but it's Le Mans. If somehow I manage to catch an early sleep I may give it a go.
Anyone going there from Bleu Nord?

To get to the TL compound from PV, walk to the track (don't go under it) turn right. Walk about 100mtrs and we are on the right before the Tertre Rouge bend.
We are inside the GE zone, so take your race tickets with you.

Joined in with this run for the last two years. Always very friendly and a range of abilities welcomed. It's been ok as a runner getting past the barriers and through onto the Porsche curves and onto the closed part of the track but think bikes would be turned away.

Curious to know whether there is an official TL course record for the lap?
