I walk it Friday afternoon after the pit walk most years. Takes about 3 hours. Never managed to get through the Porsche Curves though. I always take the local road parallel to the circuit and renter the circuit by Maison Blanche,

Anyone going there from Bleu Nord?
Yup - two of us. One a runner (he'll be off like a greyhound) and me with my borked knee limping around. No one else in our group can be convinced. The proposal was met with a mixture of derision and blue language.

Is it worth setting a meeting time and point from Bleu Nord?
I’m another Bleu Nord resident so happy to join in. Was reckoning on an 08:00 from BN. However I have just read a post suggesting that the new security fencing requires everyone to use the main entrance rather than nipping over the concrete post and rail fence up at the north end. That might mean an 07:45 departure for me as I’m up at the north end.

My friend and I are both wanting to run the track

We are staying on the 1st Tickets Bleu Nord site. I see a few others have said they are on BN, but not if its the 1st tickets bit.

Either way, BN runners, shall we meet somewhere and head up together. It's our first time to the 24hrs so we will be having to find our way to the running team, probably set off from BN at 7.45am.

Any particularly good/easy places to meet??

Late to the game, but I'm going to aim to join up on the Friday morning as well. First time to le mans, been running a bit since the start of the year so be a great way of pushing over the 10k a bit!

My mate is planning on running it and we’re on Maison Blanche... I’m going to drive him round to Antares roundabout for the start so if you two want walk into our camp (via entrance near big wheel) and turn right down to the burgundy Defender and stickered Octavia I can give you all a ride from Bleu Nord up to there if you want?

I'm up for this, always wanted the Le Mans circuit map on my running route history!
That's a big reason why I did it last year ! laugh

Got split up from the main group and was stopped at the end of the pit straight and sent through the back of the village and over the dunlop bridge rather than under it annoyingly mad

Thanks for arranging this TL! Met some nice people and had a leisurely lap round and to my surprise was the first to order a pint on Friday in the bar as the nice guy on the door let us do so 🤗 missed st saturnin but never mind!

Mad fools hehe Fair play chaps, very well done.

I think I would only have made it from TL to the Start of the Mulsanne! frown

So do we have any official times?

A couple of lads did it in just under the hour apparently! Which is very impressive!

We came in at a leisurely 1.23 with some photo stops. Race... what race?

Fantastic effort from everyone. There were some anal ACO staff trying to stop us at the Dunlop bridge, but they eventually relented. I was bringing up the rear just to make sure everyone got back safely smile. Finished about 1hr 25mins. That did take in a leisurely walk past the pits and a poke around the corvette display at Mulsanne corner. So not too bad for nearly 9 miles.
Same time, same place next year.

I will see if the ACO can make it an official event, maybe for a charity of choice next year.
Then we can include some sponsored running shirts

Thanks everyone, a really good turn out.

Thanks for organising this, I really enjoyed the run but never realised how steep the circuit is going up to Dunlop Bridge! I think the idea of making it an official charity event is a great idea for next year
