Packing tonight, load the car tomorrow and head to south London. Staying 1 night at one of the others coming to Le Mans then setting off 1st thing on Thursday.

One more meeting in London this morning, should be back before 1pm. Once back finish all my final touches to meet up with my good friend tomorrow moring at 5:30am, to depart from Essex for Folkestone for the 7:50am Euro Tunnel Crossing.

RLM podcasts downloaded for the journey - packing has started... Our early team are en route already. Will set off as early as possible tomorrow morning to catch the Eurotunnel.

Car ready, just need to pack stuff in, and set off tomorrow arvo for the tunnel, for a little jaunt to Le Touquet (Weds Evening) then onwards to Le Mans on Thursday morning.

Just waiting for Wifey to get home (we're using her XC60) - we'll be packing everything this afternoon, ready for a 4:00am start to catch an early ferry from Portsmouth

This is only our fourth year, but we're far better prepared than usual, to the point where I'm now worried that we've forgotten something fundamental - the last three years have been a bit hectic getting everything sorted in time

Our other car is currently heading from Aberdeen down to us isn West Sussex. Blue Cobra - do hurl abuse at him if you happen to see him somewhere along the M74, M6, M40 etc...

But there's probably more chance you'll see him stopping for fuel!!!

I've got 25hrs until I board the ferry to Le Havre.. the car gets washed at 08:00, kit is loaded from midday, and then I collect the navigator for the pootle to Portsmouth.. not sure why I'm so excited about getting back out there... just got a feeling its going to be a good one..

Having an early lunch then meeting the guys at 12, then down to Newbury ish to meet the rest of the crew, aiming to be in Portsmouth by 8 ish ready for the 10pm ferry. We will be in a random selection of vehicles including a vw van, a silver chimera and my blue wedge

I was sat waiting in the local barbers shop in Tamworth (Staffordshire) earlier & the girl who works there asked the guy sat in the chair where he was going...."Le Mans 24 hrs" was his reply! To whoever it was, safe travels
