Mobile Data was awful this year - Your Experiences ?

We managed to tether away from the Track, so EU Roaming does include that in France. Three Feel at Home DID NOT enable tethering in Chile when I was there 2 weeks ago.

The main issue was bandwidth and I do suspect roaming throttling was in effect. I'll test that with a local French Sim next year.

I will log a complaint with Three later this week.

I am on BT, and near the start, could post a photo on instagram on my phone, but tethering my ipod to my phone and tried to post same shot on Facebook.. it gave up after 7 minutes per try.. Tried 3 times. Friday, no problems..

Rung England during podium, and that was bad..

Tried to get RadioLeMans on my fm dial in the car, didn't know what frequency it was, It's not near the ones used for BTCC, BSB, or Goodwood.. or the other end..

I heard a few years ago, for the tech Expo in Vegas, they brought in specially, extra masts etc to up the coverage. Even had folks cycling around with portable hubs that folks could connect to.

Took a Draytek with a Huwawei in the front and a 3 sim. This performed beautifully until late Friday when it started to fail and through Saturday it was mostly unusable. My EE handset was however fine. By Sunday I was able to facetime my wife and daughter with some issues but it went through.

I remember 2014 when I couldn't send a picture message or check my email from later on Thursday so things are improving albeit slowly.
