Was it just me or did anyone else think it was excessive that in the circuit you paid €9 or a Carlsberg and €10 for a Guinness? Thought that was a bit steep in my opinion.

The beer was crazy expensive. Only had a couple from the circuit. The rest of the time I took my own in or had beer in Le Mans town. Had a nice bottle of red at Indianapolis/Arnage on Saturday night. €12 and it was a nice bottle of red.

Indeed. It has got so expensive I think I had 2 ACO pints all week, whereas when it was half the price I'd drink 3 or 4 beers a day from Weds to Sunday.

Massive queues everywhere too. (Therefore they are unlikely to lower the price any time soon).

Sneaked in a few cans at the bottom of my bag or drank water.

Everything was expensive.
I saw a place doing chicken & chips at €20, even the shotguns were €10, I’ll take my own next time.

Thought the price was 8€ plus 1 € deposit on the glass/beaker.
It’s expensive but isn’t that normal for these type of events?

How much for a pint at Silverstone F1 ?

Rip off, even the outside non ACO Bars knew the ACO Price so moved their prices up a little more too frown
But we still buy it, I sunk a few while watching the band line up over the weekend.
Dr Feelgood were Ace and JK was brilliant too. Didn't bother with Texas as I have seen them before and only really like there signature track, the rest is too slow for my liking.

Awfully bad prices all round but if you want it cold you needed to stump it up unfortunately!

Our pre-chilled beer cans and ice blocks lasted from Monday lunchtime when I filled the Igloo cooler until Sunday morning. No added ice either.

It was slightly cheaper inside the ACO enclosures - €6.60 rather than €8.

It was 6€ at Tertre Rouge. I think we paid 5.90€ at the Globe.

Campsite had £ bar cash or account card with a range of Adnams lagers and beers and ciders at £4.95 for 500ml or £18 for a 2 litre jug plus trackside viewing at start of Porsche curves so did spend alot there in adhoc group that formed. Excellent.

Only really drunk a lot of ACO in Le Pub Saturday night and early Sunday morning which wasn't too bad.

Watched start from start finish straight at Raccordement - shocking lack of loos that side and long queues - walked all way to main outside urinal near back of 13 or 14 Tribune.

If beer was cheaper the queues would be even longer!

Was staying in Beausejour - where yes they were checking but TBH unless you were tasking the absolute Michael they were OK. We arrived, setup camp and then went out and bought supplies.

Took a v large coolbox, which we put about 50x33cl cans in plus ice on the Friday morning from a Carrefrour Supermarche, we then topped up on Saturday morning with a trip to the Lidl about 5km from Tertre Roge - bought 72 cans of 50cl lager, and bought 6 bags of ice from the Supermarket nextdoor.

Had no issues fetching any of it back into camp tbh.

When I'd asked on the Friday as I headed out - they said it was 2lt Lager and a 1lt bottle of spirit per person - but said if you were buying for a large group just to say so ...... smile

Your experience was different to mine and the rest of our group.

2 litres max per person in the car, took no notice when we said there would be 7 more arriving the following day. We Had to remove half of it and go in twice. Not once did we get though without being searched (boot only). Totally unlike previous years when after registration you were wave through. We will be prepared for next year. I guess the security had a good party on Sunday night.

We were staying at Speed Chills site on Beausejour - not sure if that made any difference ?

Cross posting into Booze/Security thread as well.

while the beer was pricey, what about the t shirts and clothing! E50+ for a thin printed tee, would not mind so much if it was a decent material

Indeed, and the same price for as long as I can remember.
