“Jolly Nice Friday”, LMC18

Two years ago, a British tour operator rented a lovely chateau to the south of the circuit for their guests. On the Friday they hosted a “garden party” in the grounds, cooking burgers and with Pride on tap. They advertised it here and the Pistonheads team got on board too. We went along and had a most pleasant time.

Anybody know of anything similar that we could gatecrash this year?

Is this different to the Parking at Bugatti circuit ???

In my ticket pack from 1st Tickets the is a flyer for this sort of event on the Friday. I didn't read it properly but saw it was running pretty much all day and I think it said about 30mins from the circuit. I'll put the full details on when I get home later.

I can confirm this event is going ahead again this year on Friday 6th July at Chateau Rive Sarthe, just outside Malicorne-sur-Sarthe.

Its a nice 30-40min drive South West of Le Mans into the countryside and our lovely chateau is the perfect setting for a gathering of classic cars and enthusiasts. There is no entrance fee and we will have Spitfire Ale and cold beer on tap as well as some hot food.

A word from the wise...

Stick to the speed limits whilst driving from the circuit to this superb event/venue.

I was a tt back in 2014 and got a 3 day roadside ban + fine from hidden speed cops specifically targeting LeMans brits

See you there this year though B-)
