I joined the ACO when I bought my tickets, but I haven´t received anything in the way of ACO tickets or passes. Is this normal?

How do you clain discounts on karting or enter ACO áreas?

Do you have to go to an ACO area to sign-up once at Le mans?

Can somebody give me advice please?

I have emailed them twice but haven´t had a reply, so I´m asking here .

Thank you

Paul.

You should have a temporary membershipcard, something like a printed receipt, probably your payment confirmation. They will send you a plastic membershipcard. At the 24 always register at la Capelle to get a bracelet, to get acces to the special dedicatedmembership areas and the ACO grandstand (not the seats) for descent toilets and affordable drinks and snacks.
Your temporary membershipcard/receipt will give you discount.

Yes it is, the discount on tickets will make it worthwhile. Extra's are shop discount and acces to members area works for me.

I took my invoice to the ACO desks by the ACO grandstands and found a very helpful young French, but English speaking, lady who gave me a temporary membership card which gave my mate access to the ACO cafe.

(In all of my years I have never before written "helpful" and "French" in the same sentence.)

Yes, some instuctions on what to do to on the invoice wouldn´t be a bad idea would it? I´ve been thinking that they have forgotton a ticket, band
or pass . Also I have emailed them several times and I still haven´t had a responce. What´s french for "customer service?"

Why don’t you call them and check the situation?
When you call there is an option to go English speaking.

I have been an ACO member for many years now, the biggest advantage for me is being able to get my camping tickets before non members, the discounts on two camping and 6 race tickets in theory covers the cost, but to do that you need to pass on that cost to the rest of your party. If you do the classic as well then you get two lots of discounted tickets on alternative years.
Other advantages are access to aco members area's as said and when you sign into those area's the first time and get a bracelet you will get a package of poster. programme and sticker, again a saving if you normally buy these. Later in the year you get a package containing timing sheets etc and another programme, poster and sticker.
My card is used by all my group to get discounts in the shops at le mans
