As the new Road laws came into effect in france on the 1st July on the 2 lane roads, the speed limit has been reduced on all of those roads.

It's was being enforced quite alot just south of le mans and all the way upto and just past Rouen when we drive up from Chambord on monday/Tuesday.

We saw atleast 10 separate speed traps

Already have the speed warning set in the car which is loaded and sitting on the drive.

Off to Portsmouth via Feltham in a couple of hours for the overnight crossing.......

I can just about see the actual speedo reading in the 944 let alone have an alert LOL

Good grief you're not kidding. Considering the French don't normally think rules apply to them, I was amazed, having just got back from France, how many people were religiously sticking to 50mph on single carriage way roads which was very frustrating. Mind you when they then got on the autoroute it was straight up to 90mph and sitting right on your bumper!
