I've been a fan of both the WEC & WRC for many years, a rally competitor myself back in the days of Sunbeam Lotus & Road Rallying.
I have both apps on my Iphone SE, both as I understand it are from the FIA. The WRC app is a country mile in front of the WEC. It has more information, better access to movies, playbacks and daily news.
