Will it even go ahead?

My mistake. I mixed up lowdrag with leyorkie! Leyorkie doesn't have a pub but does live in a village 25 minutes away with a rather nice English pub. I could give you the details but I might have to kill you if I do!!!
Anyway its not in Le Mans so probably not relevant
I often like to travel out, always stay at Seés on the way in and the way out; sussed where your talking about with a little research so will probably take a spin out there on Thursday or Friday Anyway its not in Le Mans so probably not relevant
I promise not to give the game away, but I don't suppose it could be my pub anyway. But if you put 47 38.43N and 09 25.30E into your GPS you might find the pub. If you want to eat your fish and chips best to ring first and book. Closed Monday and Tuesday. But if you are staying north of Le Mans this is south of Le Mans. But I'm hurt you didn't want to meet. sob sob It is the only english pub I know though that serves draught bitter and Guinness.

I am not one for jumping on the Covid panic but normally I would book about this time, both tickets and camping for 9-12 of us; however I am going to wait until a few weeks before the event.
My reasoning; This weekend I have tickets to France vs Ireland Rugby which just 5 days before it has been cancelled however my insurance will not cover the travel and hotel citing a travel ban has not been issued. This means I'm going to Paris for basically a drinking session paying over the odds to do so based on the amounts paid for both travel and hotel.
What are others plans this year?

You won't like it, especially on a Friday evening. We regret it every time we go. I know we will not like it again this year....https://www.facebook.com/roseandcrownlelude

I bring my group on a Friday evening about 6:30pm...I've got 9 this year - we meet Leyorkie who books it for usGive me numbers and I'll combine a booking.
We are going to visit that famous hotel De France on the way down, say 515pm? Feel free to join us there

Spa 6 Hours in AprilIndy 500 in May
Le Mans 24 Hours in June
The cancellation of Spa and Le Mans I could live with (sort of), but missing Indy will be a real PITA!
Spa 6 hrs April
Le Mans 24 Jun
Moto 24 is busy and a bit close, i expect it will be moved
Spa is never busy so should be ok...I'll book last minute staying in Brussels
Le Mans 24...cures expected for the virus in May according to the medical papers, so Jun is cutting it close...I'll go to the reschedule if necessary which I bet will be September if it happens

So, as it stands the ACO are officially saying 'no problem, we have no plans to cancel or postpone' but the French Govt are currently banning gatherings of more than 1000? Is that correct?
Presumably the ACO will be applying pressure to ensure that by June it's all good to go?
The ACO are awaiting direction. They won't cancel it if the government say nothing, and until they do it is on until it is off. Here in France football matches are being played to empty stadiums, and they are amazed here to see the Scottish rugby and all the football stadia full. There are so many rumours flying about, including that the French are going to close their borders. How can that work? Just like Italy, there are back roads. The French use them daily to go to Spain or Belgium to buy tobacco in bulk because it is so much cheaper. You would need one hell of a lot of fingers to block that dam. All we can do is wait and see, but of one thing I am sure; if anyone can screw things up it is a politician. But for the moment the ACO site shows that even the Superbike race in 10 days time is still on. Until it is off.Presumably the ACO will be applying pressure to ensure that by June it's all good to go?

Presume this is a national superbike race, in which case no risk compared to say an international event. If it goes ahead I could almost see the moto24 event going ahead because so far as I know there are no Italian teams in it yet. In fact the majority of teams seem to be French, as does about 90% of the spectators...only saw a handful of Brits other than that last year, though I could be wrong.
The motogp on the other hand is a totally mixed bag from India, Japan, Italy, Spain, UK etc etc ...and that's just the teams. I presume the spectators are from all over the place too - plus a lot more people than moto 24 I read on here.
