I can’t see a deadline to return the booking form. Given that it says all over it no refunds on tickets we are deliberately being slow to return it, hopefully not until it’s all a bit clearer.

what has put me off is the small chance that the UK will not permit me to return if I catch the Delta (France not yet being at peak delta infection level)

I asked ACO wha the deadline for the return of booking forms was and if they would accept return tickets. They answered one of the questions!

Dear Sir,

We understand that the health situation can be an obstacle. Therefore, we request a return by 15 July 2021 at the latest.

Thank you for your understanding.

Kind regards,

The ticket office

Well, the armco and the tyre wall are up on the Mulsanne roundabout I see, and they are strimming on the Mulsanne getting ride of weeds. Maybe someone forgot to tell them it's not until seven weeks time.

From faq

From 21 June, the French government states that it will be possible for those with a foreign vaccine or test certificate to convert it into an EU format so it can be scanned into the TousAntiCovid app. The process for doing this has not yet been clarified.

Not had my letter through yet confirming what we’ve been offered. Already seen it on the ACO members link shared earlier, but not had letter through to confirm anything. Bit rubbish as I need to cancel the Rouge parking which they’ve offered in place of Arnage.

If you go to your account https://ticket.lemans.org/en/my-commands and choose print my receipt on the latest order you will find the letter that they have sent on in the mail... where you can claim refund or order tickets etc.

I had an email yesterday from the ACO about refunds. If you wanted one (maybe as I hadn't indicated either way, as it was going to be automatic..) then you clicked on a link and filled in the details.

"
Be sure that our team is doing everything possible to manage your credit note for the 24 Hours of Le Mans. A postal mail has been sent to you recently, but you may not have received it yet.

You can now find your credit in your customer area
("My orders" section).

LIGNE-TITRE

Voucher holders who cannot attend the race on 21–22 August 2021 can apply for a refund now!

"

I've only scraped the text from the email.

The whole process is quite manual - i.e. you need to supply your details and customer number and order number and the amount involved yourself.. It's only 2021...

I must be being dense, I too have had the email saying I can access my credit note (8x GA, 8x grandstand, 3x parking from 2020) in “my orders”. How do I get to this? If I log in, I can click on “my account” but all I have is this. I must be missing something?

Not sure - I just clicked on the 'refund now' button in the email.

As per usual they seem to struggle with anything digital.

I couldn't find it either. But using the link on page 26ish of this thread posted by Surveyor it brought up my details straight away. So I could see we'd been assigned Rouge parking, just waiting on the email/letter to get these refunded.

Unless of course the link no longer works as I'm unable to find my ticket details.....

For those interested, the local paper today talks of the opening of a new wine and beer shop behind KFC and De Arte restaurant at the first roundabout down the Mulsanne, opposite Decathlon. The range of beers is enormous, so you might like to take a look. Also, in the same area, a new steak restaurant is opening end of July, the main course priced at €18.90.

Didn't you say there was also a supermarket opening around there as well?

Sounds like all our shopping needs are now covered within walking distance of the campsites.

Those I mentioned above are at the first roundabout where you find KFC. The new supermarket, in a new mall called "Maine Street", is situated at the second roundabout where is situated McDonalds. You turn left toward Ruaudin, and again left at a small roundabout a couple of hundred yards in. It's on your right in a new shopping area. You will see it as you enter, and if you need anything electrical from a USB key to a fridge, a BBQ or TV, the first shop is called Electrodepot. They specialize in end of line stuff and very competitive.

I did the online refund request and sent an email with details to confirm I wanted a refund. This was acknowledged as received and will be processed soon.

Not sure why or whether it should have changed from the ‘automatic’ process first published.
