This does not look good and would probably stop any British involvement in Le Mans.
I can’t see teams and spectators stopping in designated hotels for 10 days.

Ok the other hand it’s another paper desperate for hits.

Yes Delta will explode across Europe this summer , but we will start to learn to live with Covid it as it will be here for the next 100 years ( like flu ) .... or go to NZ and shut the door .

Oz is worse - there is a large % of the population who are against vaccination. I’ve a friend who moved out there a few years ago (he is double jabbed). The welcomed shutting the border very early and holding it shut. He cannot believe the woeful ordering of the vaccine nor the push & encouragement from the govt to get the population onboard for jabbing.

NZ snap.
So those countries will have to 100% vaccinate before opening the boarder BUT that will be years and when they do open up they know people will die

Does anyone know what channels will be showing Le Mans? Will they stream on YouTube maybe?

I know Eurosport showed it last year, but I might not have access to that this year.

It'll be Eurosport or paying for the WEC app/website for streaming.

I think the app was £8.99 for the race last year, was worth it for the add free coverage IMO

I might do that then. The Eurosport commentary is absolutely terrible so I won't miss that.

Does the App use Radio Le Mans?

The commentary is good on the app though, a million times better than Eurosport. I had Radio Le Mans commentary for most of the race last year, never got it properly sinced to the pictures, but it was fine once used to it.

What a field! Finger crossed we get to see and hear them in the flesh and not just on a tv sat in a field.

Isn’t that 10 days in hotel quarantine too?

Jeez that’s simply going to put a stop to most

If this is still the case in August, then as a group, we’re out.

At least France seems to be finally getting on track now. The latest is that all bars, hotels and restaurants must be fully vaccinated before 31/8/21 or face closure until they are vaccinated. Not that the measure has any bearing on the race, really.

To save me trawling through pages of threads, what was the decision on deadlines for ticket refunds? I thought it was mid July, but sure someone mentioned no deadline. I’ve still not received a letter from ACO just seen the ticket order online so can see what I’ve been allocated. This situation won’t change quickly so some folk might be wanting to try and get some money back and not risk a run like last years trip.

ACO told me when I asked 16 July. Hence we have just committed for tickets. Last nights announcement not what we hoped for!
