The car we are getting to le mans has yet unproven air con abilities...no doubt air con will not work after recharge which sods law surely points to being odds on for a hot one.
For the first time, I'm going in a vehicle that has aircon. And a proper roof that doesn't leak. And a heater that actually demists the windows.RobbyJ said:
How did that work out for you in 2017? I for one was rather hot!
Yeah, been hot a few years, and wet a few years but driving there and back roof down is the challenge. I've done 13 years In MX5 NA but last year was the first year with a TVR Chimaera, you have to pack the roof in the boot with everything else so at that point you're committed Wouldn't have it any other way!
As others have said, you can have 3 seasons in one day whilst watching the 24hrs.....it’s part of the fun In some ways but makes planning for the event more challenging. As long as it’s reasonably warm I’m happy as we’re camping In 2 weeks’ time the weather forecast will be purely academic

How bloody boring! Water enters everywhere, the only aircon I have is to drive faster, fuel consumption 15 mpg and £175 a fill-up, no boot, only a luggage rack, and no usable roof. The perfect way to travel to Le Mans.MCSV8 said:
Yeah but you've only got to go 2 miles
Not on Sunday I haven't! 200 mile rally all day, and the weather seems iffy to say the least, changing every two hours. It's 24C and sunny, but storms were predicted a few hours ago. But we'll only know next week. Anyone remember the intense storm that settled over the circuit in, I think, 2008? Even the tunnels were completely flooded. Yet here, six miles as the crow flies, we had a little shower.Gassing Station | Le Mans | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff
