Thanks, I have had a good look around the map.

I have contacted a few agents and have been helpful. Just knowing what the budget for the others is.

Thanks again.

This might give you an idea of what is on offer on the circuit, in town and where the Supermarkets are. Also some hints of what to do and where to watch. There will be a completely new version of this guide out before the new year - Enjoy

Amazing, thanks.

Yes will be looking at those tickets.

Love to do a big convoy over but hey lets find a place first.

These days there aren't any really bad campsites at Le Mans - though for your first time I'd avoid Arnage/Mulsanne campsites (just to far out for your first trip when you're trying to go everywhere/do every thing) and try to avoid Beausjour (cheap but just a bit of a walk to the main action and can flood if a wet year). All have reasonable, regularly cleaned toilets and showers - though numbers are limited so be a sheep who HAS to shower at 8am and you'll be queuing but shower at 11am instead and you might walk straight in.

After that consider a grandstand seat. They aren't escential and I probably only use mine for 3hrs at the start/3hrs at the end of the race, just wandering the rest of the time - but it means you can turn up 30min before the start/end of the race and know you'll have a seat with a good view and if it's either hot or wet some shelter from the elements.

I think the only campsite I would actively avoid is Bleu Nord or the blue one that backs on to the airfield.

Yes, that is Bleu Nord - but I've used it a couple of times and didn't have any problems with it. Main problem you get on Nord are the odd group who think everyone wants dance music played at full volume for 24hrs - but only an issue if you're close to them and they can buy tickets for any campsite so you could end up next to them anywhere.

I enjoyed Bleu Nord last year form my first aiming to go back to that campsite again. You do get the odd muppet who sets fireworks off outside your tent and stuff but that's the party atmosphere

Occasionally you get people setting of fireworks at ground height.
Very occasionally they can burst on someones tent and melt holes in the fly sheet.
Occasionally those tents aren't be empty but contain 6 very large Danish gentlemen trying to get some sleep before heading out to watch night racing.
Occasionally people find their remaining fireworks confiscated and no bank notes left in any of their wallets.

Don't know about that - it's the only campsite we've ever had stuff stolen from. It just felt a bit soulless to us as well. But each to their own and each campsite can be quite different year on year, especially during the years when Maison Blanche is/was slimming down.
