Prices have been bumped up quite a chunk this year to be fair.
I originally didn't get paddock pass out of protest of how much it's gone up.
Then had massive FOMO and had to add one.
GA+Paddocks had increased from €158 last yr to €165 this; but moving from BSJ to Prarie campsite has dropped by €20 so a saving!I originally didn't get paddock pass out of protest of how much it's gone up.

Got the email yesterday from 1st Tickets (we are booked in to their private campsite) that demand has been far lower than expected. It appears the campsite operators are having to consolidate as they don't have enough bookings to support their own sites.
1st Tickets Beausejour site isn't happening, we are being moved up to Langoustine place at Tertre Rouge. This is a good result for us, but disappointing to hear the event is struggling.
There seems to be an issue with how it's been promoted. I have friends who have been to several LMCs who didn't know about the changes and new format.
First year teething pains perhaps. If Peter Auto pull it off and put grids together of super cool 90s and 2000s stuff, it'll be an awesome weekend and I'm sure all the content will bring people along to the next one. Perhaps we are getting lucky to have a quiet event with what I assume will still be some great cars and racing.

I’m actually pretty happy with being at Tetre Rouge. I don’t normally go with Team Langoustine because I don’t want the food package they force you to buy but being up there with 1st tickets is a good thing. 1st Tickets Beausejour site isn't happening, we are being moved up to Langoustine place at Tertre Rouge. I have wondered if there are a few factors contributing to the lower numbers. It’s a new event, people going for LM over Classic, the economic situation at the moment etc. It should be a really good event and seeing so many of the 90s and 00s cars will be incredible.

It could als be that more people are opting for off site accomodation.
I really hope the numbers are down, but quality of cars is as anticipated, it could be a great event. I can't wait that's for certain.
My hope/assumption is that the entrants and drivers will still come in droves. This new event is opening up to a lot of folks who've never had a chance to bring X or Y car to Le Mans.I really hope the numbers are down, but quality of cars is as anticipated, it could be a great event. Trying to be optimistic we could be lucky - first year of a new event, all the great cars show up, and we get to enjoy less crowds.

Current list above.
There is an F1, there are a handful of M1's and 935's, a couple of 512BBLM's, and a Maserati MC12 if you want to go more modern. And a whole bunch of Group C goodness.
...but no Panoz, 787B or Toyota currently.
Does anyone know when they finalise the entry lists? Couple of races look really well supported, but a couple will look a little lost on that big circuit.

I'm booked for the Classic / Legends races this year - this'll be the first time after many decades of attendance at the main (modern) race.
From a spectator point of view are there any differences between the modern and classic races? I don't mean the race format which is different obviously, but are there differences to viewing areas, trackside hospitality, facilities & big screens, does 91.2FM Radio Le Mans broadcast, etc?
For the last time ever before it is bulldozed we are staying on the Tertre Rouge campsite. Anyone know whether this is still the same as was, or has redevelopment started already around there?
Really looking forward to it. I am not sure what to expect but hopefully it is as entertaining as all our trips to the modern race have been.

First time poster, long time lurker! I've been a fan of sportscar racing since playing Gran Turismo 4 from nine years old. I can't wait to see the likes of the Playstation liveried Pescarolo in action, or hear the 787B!
I first went to Le Mans for the Classic in 2016, camping on the official Blue Nord site. I'm not sure it even exists anymore. Almost every subsequent year has seen us at the LM24, staying at Beausejour. I was also introduced to the Goodwood Revival a few years ago, which has quickly become my favourite annual event and serves as inspiration for attending this year's Le Mans Classic.
I've always enjoyed spectating the LM24 even with just a general admission ticket. I've watched first laps from the infield of the first corner, the far side of the Dunlop bridge (RIP) and the short straight just before the Ford Chicane, always with a reasonably good view. I anticipate the Classic to be just as good, if not better, and similarly easier to get a better view as the event progresses. A grandstand seat is probably nice to have, but part of the fun for me is making your way around the circuit.
In terms of camping, our group of ten are staying in Epinettes for the first time. I think Beasejour's most chaotic days have passed and I hope for a much shorter walk to the track village..!
Entertainment and activities - One of the my highlights of the 24H is the full track walk on the Friday. I don't believe this is possible at the Classic, but I'll be happily proven wrong. The club displays in 2016 were excellent and I see no reason they'll be different this year. The concerts look to be comparable if you're interested in seeing whoever is playing. I regret not going to Jamiroquai in 2018! The firework and drone display at the 24H centenary was absolutely spectacular - anything a fraction as good this year would be a welcome surprise.
This will likely be our last visit for a while, but not because we haven't enjoyed the last decade. The Nurburgring 24H, Spa 6H/Classic and maybe Imola are itches that need to be scratched. Praying the WEC makes a return to Silverstone in the near future too.

So it looks like the Mazda 787b appearance was confirmed by Mazda Motorsports......................I was umming and argghing if I could go for the first time this year and that's made my mind up for me as that car is a bit of a unicorn for me!
I have a question regarding parking, when you buy through Team Langoustine or 1st Tickets, what happens do you park next to your tent? I've a tvr chimaera I'll be driving over in so it'd be nice to park with the TVRCC but I don't then want to leave my car on stand with my stuff in it.
Also the prices for booking through these companies are like £300-400 extra, is it really worth it over booking it all yourself through LMC website? I'll be travelling solo so no wife or missus to keep happy
