Hmmmm .. be interesting how this pans out - we used them 3 years ago and once there all was good but the whole experience with the booking, invoices and comms was a bit shoddy. Speed Chills were brilliant, shame they got swallowed up by this lot!!
We are looking to go next year and have an enquiry in with them so will definately keeping an eye out before we pass over any funds

I liked Speed Chills back in the day. PH/1st tickets are in the exact same location now in Beausejour. The location isn’t the best, I did prefer the Bleu Nord location they used to have. Yes, we used Blue Nord a couple of times with them ....... TD have a great site on Porsche Curves so hopefully this is just a streamlining of the overall business rather than a huge issue ... but a dilemma regardless as its a lot of cash that customers put up for Le Mans and none of us want that at riskTrustpilot reviews give a sign of when it went wrong https://uk.trustpilot.com/review/motorsporttickets... and fairly sure the accounts have indicated it’s relied on funding from a parent company for some time

"I am writing as an owner of a private site but this is not in any way an advertisment. What i would like to do is set some guide lines which may help users of this forum.
Ticket Agents are not usually bound by the need to be a member of an organisation like ABTA or ABTOT therfore there is usually no need to repay any monies in case of financial failure some may have protection and also financial failure insurance. usually best to use a credit card. Some agents will refund if the event does not go ahead with an admin charge.
Agents who who sell packages need to have some form off financial protection bonded or insurance based, check out their terms and conditions and ask questions if unsure.
Hopefully this helps clarify the situation but more than pleased to give any further information if required."
If you read my statement it sets out the position in respect of financial failure insurance, If you sell packages you have to comply with The Package Travel and Linked Travel Arrangements Regulations 2018 and it always up to the customer to check what financial protection is in place it doesnt have to be ABTA/ABTOT although both of these organisations have the Majority of tour operators as members they also operate an arbitration service in case of financial failure. If you need to look at the regulations. See below

These regulations are about to be updated and tightened for greater protection.

That s interesting - website still up and last correspondence with them said all ok - be good to get cast iron view from them - the commentary directly from them is that its Motorsport tickets that is in liquidation and not Travel Destinations ... always difficult to get a full picture but they are saying all is good ..... may want to get your Lead to check his details just in case :-) Edited by Herbie Hammer on Monday 3rd August 09:54
